I ordered this to replace the busted one on my Chevy Sonic LS 2013. The plastic is alright, I don't expect it to last forever, but it's doing real well so far. I replaced it a few months ago and car is working just fine. It fit in great with no leaks or cracks. And the price was great, I was not ready to drop $$$ on an all metal one at the moment. Would purchase again.

I replaced this thermostat housing on my 2017 Chevrolet Sonic and it fit perfectly the first time with no leaks. I had purchased a metal housing some time back but I was never able to figure out why it leaked water from an aluminum pipe attached to it. The plastic housing looks and feels solid. I live in south Texas and the temperature is very hot during the Summer so I am confident this product will take the heat.

This was just right for my cruze it was easy to install no leakage and it's still holding up so pretty durable. Worth what I paid!

Wonderful product fit right in with the old one and fix the coolant leak ahead on my vehicle highly recommend it and awesome that the boat slots are filled with metal not have to worry about it when it is made out of plastic

The O ring on the underside was installed improperly and I didn’t realize it until I bolted everything up and added fluid. It leaked like crazy. I pulled the new part and installed the O ring properly then did a leak test with water. Better but still dripping. You get what you pay for but I’ll never get that two hours of my life back. Will be returning.

The part is a perfect fit for a Cruze 1.8, actually identical to the original thermostat housing. Economic price.
