Treatex Hard Wax Oil - Clear Matt 007 - 2.5Ltr Tin. New Improved Formula

I had fitted Natures Own engineered oak flooring. This was supposed to have been pre-treated 5 times with OSMO but would stain if wiped, I contacted Treatex directly and spoke to a very pleasant gentleman. He sent a small sample bottle of the Treatex Hard Wax Oil Clear Matt to try on a couple of boards we had spare. This arrived quickly and was easily applied. After two coats on a small area where applied, we 'spilt' various items on it and allowed to dry (Spaghetti hoops, wine etc) These cleaned off very easily without staining or discolouring the wood. A 2.5Ltr tin was soon purchased and applied. Each coat was applied easily and quickly but required approx 12 hours to set. This could have been because of the weather, so a full weekend needs to be put aside to complete a through living/dining room. The floor now looks fantastic and is standing up to puppy accidents :-) . It's initially expensive but should only need re-applying once a year if not less frequently so value for money in keeping the floor protected.

Finish is quite attractive, but product supplied was full of bits, and cured product stuck to the bottom; either faulty manufacture or very old ( no manufacture date or use by date on the tin).

Used treatex to treat real wood floors and oak doors excellent oil easy to use and lovely finish
