This is a great portrait lens. It IS manual focus - so great for beginners to learn and great little lens for pro’s to use. It’s just a great lens - works as described. Blurs the background. Don’t leave a bad review cause you wanted it to auto focus - it won’t do that. It’s manual and works great!

Very good aftermarket prime lens. Sharp and build quality is acceptable.

Lens fit my Canon EOS R100 so this lens does fit R series cameras unlike what other reviews may say. However, the lens kept being out of focus and applying a soft effect even when manually adjusted. Found it unusable for photography and returned it.

I wish this was a digital version but it’s still pretty good

This lens is great for architectural and landscape photography. This is a manual lens which means you have to manually adjust focus. It attached correctly to Canon RP & R7 and feels solid. Overall the image quality was much better than I expected. The images are not tack sharp, rather a little soft. I have shaky hands so that may be why. The images below were taken with this lens mounted on a Canon R7 without a tripod. Keep in mind, it’s a manual lens without autofocus, so you must understand the exposure triangle to adjust and compensate accordingly.

The lens is great. I am in no way qualified to write any kind of substantial review. I am a hobbyist at best. But it was difficult to put on the camera. There were a few times I thought I was going to mess something up. I’m still not proficient with manual and it was very hard for me to us without certain settings.

This lens is a great price and value. Nice manual lenses to ease into photography. Fantastic pictures. Definitely worth the purchase

I got this for my son who is new to photography and he says it works great. He is very happy with it.

Item arrived by the next day which was awesome. The lens itself is overall good. I was looking for a lens that could capture something small, use for Portraits, and capture details, it does all of that, but only downfall is, object has to be still as there's no focus and can only use it in manual mode. Overall really happy with this lens, and would buy again!

I bought this lens mostly out of curiosity. I ti a completely manual lens so one has to experiment a little with exposures, which is not too much of a problem with the instantly viewable images that digital cameras provide. Shoot, look and adjust exposure settings if required. Focus is mechanism is firm and smooth, very pleasant to use. For me, it has produced sharp and pleasing images. For what it cost, I am delighted with this lens.
