Excellent product
Live in an older house with a lean causing cold air leaking in winter. Read an article that recommended this product. I’m an older lady with no skills or experience with this. Doesn’t look like much when you pull it from the package. What a miracle. Ended up using it all over the house. Installed with scissors and a butter knife. The best part, once you install draft stops and you cannot see it! Does not attract your attention at all. Also fills cracks to keep bugs out.

Fairly effective solution for wall cracks
After we converted our home to force air heat/AC, we were left with a bunch of gaps left from the old baseboard heater, I decide to give this 1/4 inch rubber backer rod joint filler a try. After using it, I can say that it's a game changer in crack repair. The size works for filling in medium sized cracks, providing about the right amount of material to seal the gap effectively without being overly bulky. The rubber material seems durable and is flexible, allowing it to expand and contract with temperature changes without cracking or crumbling. It is quick and easy to use, without having the need to mix and precise application like the traditional crack fillers, but rather just simply push it into the crack using a putty knife or similar tool. The rubber material provides great adhesion to either concrete, wood, etc., ensuring long lasting repair.

Flexible rubber rods
I have large gaps between the floor and the wall. Got this flexible rubber rod to fill those gaps. They can be squeezed in and pushed in and stayed in place. I used wood putty to fill the rest. So far, the surface looks nice. Definitely will update if things changed.
