The tremolo included with a TravelCaster uses a threaded screw-in trem bar, and (to me) doesn't really match the 'traveling' nature of the guitar. A press-fit bar is much quicker and easier to remove and insert before and after packing up and transport. It also is less stressful to the hardware when you repeatedly insert/remove it, versus a threaded bar. Installation and setup was fast and easy, and was a drop-in replacement on dimensions and spacing. It was swapped out and tuned in under 30 minutes. An added plus is getting the block style string saddles instead of the vintage 'bent' saddles typical on imported Fender Strat clones. Apparently the Wilkinson brand is now owned or distributed by MusicLilly, but it's affordable and reasonably good quality, with sufficient precision to make it a worthwhile upgrade when you don't want or need a high priced alternative.

Das Vibrato steht dem Original von Fender in nichts nach. Auch die Maße entsprechen denen des Originals. Somit ist ein Austausch mit diesem Teil ganz einfach möglich. Sehr zu empfehlen.
