I have dabbled with calligraphy before and the pink glass pen was comfortable and a joy to use. Nibs easily interchangeable and the quality of the ink was good – no blobs or blotches. Suitable for the beginner or advanced calligrapher, altogether great as a gift.

This set is beautifully packaged and would make a great gift for anyone interested in calligraphy.The glass pen is comfortable to grip and has a real premium feel to it. The set comes with 2 pens (1 wood and 1 glass) plus a selection of 12 nibs and 4 different inks (Crimson Glory, Autumn Gold, Blue Turquoise and Lamp Black).A basic instructional guide is provided with good hints and tips to look after your new set and to get started with basic calligraphy.All in all a fantastic set that would be a beautiful gift for anyone interested in calligraphy or good penmanship. Thoroughly recommended.

I bought this calligraphy set as a gift for a friend because it came so highly recommended. The box has been opened to ensure the pink glass pen was not broken in delivery. (I received an email from the company prior to the arrival of the product warning of the possibility of this happening and of their replacement policy; which is amazing by the way.)The presentation of the Daveliou Calligraphy Set is impressive from the beginning. The outer box it comes in (see photos below), and the magnetic fastening lid of storage box where every piece has its own special place is fantastic!The set comes with 2 pens (one glass and the other wood), a selection of 12 nibs and a glass rest for the nibs and 4 different inks: Autumn Gold, Crimson Glory, Blue Turquoise and Lamp Black.If I had a proclivity to calligraphy I would be on cloud nine now! I think I’ve chosen wisely though and the gift will be something meaningful and memorable.

Gorgeous set! The glass holder in particular is really lovely and very well balanced. Some of the heads needed fiddling around with as they seemed a little loose but worked wonderfully once corrected. The colour inks are fab - be sure to mix them really well though! Overall a great starter set and would make a fantastic gift as the packaging is really attractive.

This is a beautiful set. I’m still learning and need a lot of practice but wanted to treat myself to this set. However the difficulty getting the Nibs in and out is impractical and damages the nibs. Could see in the questions that I’m not alone in struggling with the nibs. It’s not fit for purpose with that problem so I’ve reluctantly had to return it.

I don't know much about these sets as it was bought as a xmas gift for my mum.She has described it though as the best set she has ever used. Very good quality and perfect weight and balance. She is thrilled with the set and says it's a pleasure to use.There was a slight problem with the inks in my mums set possibly due to their fragile nature and the delivery.But the seller replaced them straight away and without any fuss really a first class service all round.I would definitely recommend this set and the company.One happy mother.

Beautifully packaged in a pink and gold box with a magnetic lid, this has the hallmarks of a perfect gift. Included in the set is a heavier glass pen and a lighter wooden pen, both are beautiful. The nibs and ink are both quality and allow for a smooth writing experience with no blotches or tearing of the paper and the glass stand is a helpful accessory when writing. Included is a small booklet that provides very useful information on care and use and some details on different calligraphy styles to get you started. All in all this is a fantastic set and would make an amazing gift for a calligraphy enthusiast.

The packaging is great. The delivery was on time. I would highly recommend this calligraphy set for any one who has a interest. One bottle of ink had leaked into the plastic bag (not damaging anything else), I contacted the seller who responded quickly apologising and sending out to me a replacement, Thanks to them.
