Decent safe - similar to small hotel-style safes
We were looking for a smaller safe, similar to what you find in hotels, and this fit that bill perfectly. Our kids just won't follow the house rules of getting their chores done before they watch TV, and hiding the remotes is getting tiring! This safe is perfect to put all the remotes and small tablets in and lock it all up until they get their stuff done. And now it can just sit on the shelf in the entertainment center. I like that it has both the keypad, and a backup key to get into it. I wouldn't consider it fully waterproof or fireproof as it has small holes in the back (to mount it to a wall), but for our purposes, this safe is working out great!

It's a safe
I don't know how safe it is, but I do know the inside does not have a lot of room as the door mechanism intrudes into the inside. We bought it to provide a safe place for medications during tornado season in case the house gets blown down, but we can't put as much in as we would have liked. SO it works, just not very big.

Really enjoy this safe
My husband and I had been looking for a safe for a long time but it's hard to find one that isn't an arm and a leg. This safe fits perfectly on our bookshelf side table. The keypad option is great as well!

WARNING! NOT FIREPROOF OR WATERPROOF. FALSE DESCRIPTION.
This is nothing short of FALSE ADVERTISING. This "safe" has ZERO insulation for fire resistance. It's just a thin metal shell which even has two big holes drilled in the back and two big holes drilled in the bottom. Water and fire will go right in. This kind of a seller should be tossed off of Amazon.
