This product is bright and amazing. We've had a lot of rain in New England this summer and it still works perfectly. It's definitely waterproof and for outside.I cannot speak on the longevity. I've only had it for a month.For now it's perfect. The remote is a little confusing

All LED’s light, remote works, app on my iPhone works, Alexa works. It's all good so far.Light output seems good, controller remembers last setting.I haven’t mounted them yet, I wish they had two way tape. Even though the tape isn’t a long term solution it would aid in the installation of the included clips.If the install goes well I may upgrade to 5 stars.

I dont often write reviews unless something significant happened with the product or with the company. In this case it is with the company. I ordered a set of LEDs in October. Set them up within a day or two. Very easy to install. I have gone through a few different LED products on Amazon that ended up being less than desirable. I needed an LED that can survive the outdoors and last longer that a few months.They were installed in October and by the middle of December they would go off line and the app was rendered useless. I deleted the LEDs in the app and synced them back up and within a day, they were off line again. I could use the remote that came with it, but you limited to what you can do compared to the app.I contacted the company, and they worked with me to try to troubleshoot the LEDs. Unfortunately it did not help. In our discussions, I asked to have the controller replaced due to the failed attempts to fix the problem. The were accommodating and told me a new controller is on the way. To my surprise, they sent me a whole new set!!GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!I was not expecting the full replacement. So, I want to mention this to help those people that may be on the fence whether to purchase their product or not.If they help all their customers like they helped me, I definitely recommend their product and praise their customer service.Hope this helps

The light it self they are good quality and heavy-duty made. The only reason why i did give my five star first, i feel little bit disappointed with the apps smart life app even you already contacted with you lights still not working properly sometimes it show up online but you can't operate your lights, And so with the remote controlis not even work properly either. I am 2ft away from the control still not work. I am sorry i have to write down my review because they have to know what's going on with the app and at the same time they fix the problem.

Lights are not as bright as other strips. Lights are IP68 not IP65 like it states. The colors on the ap do not look like the colors on the strip.
