Men's Work watch
Delivered in its own sealed package Inside sits a long felt poppered case inside of this is this men's fashion watch . Made from stainless steel it has a stainless steel bezel , a white face with black arabic numbers and hands , it has a date reader to the right of the dial . The strap is a metal linked strap which can be adjusted . Perfect as a daily wear / work wear . I'm unable to comment on its value for money due to it being currently unavailable.

Definitely not dementia friendly!
Watch looks ok, but is nightmarishly difficult/fiddly to set up so that time, day and date are all correct. Secondly, the strap is very inflexible, so it really doesn't seem like it would be comfortable to wear. Finally - and most crucially, is the fact that, because you can't set the month, you have to reset it at the end of every month that doesn't have 31 days! Okay so I should have thought it through, but this problem should be made clear on the product info! I chose this for my dad, who has dementia, purposely to give him an awareness of what day/date it was. But there's no way he'd remember or even realise he needed to check/reset it every month! I'd have to make a special trip every time it needed resetting which I just can't manage. I will say, I did try to find a watch with date/month instead of day/date, but I could not find a SINGLE (analogue) watch with the UK date format, as in date of the month first, and month second! Having a watch that said, for example, "10 4", would of course immediately (and logically, imo!) make my dad think it was the tenth of April, not the fourth of October, leaving him thoroughly confused about the time of year, and worse off than before!!
