Game of Thrones: The Complete Seasons 1-7 (DVD)

With some of the negative reviews revealing problems with some discs I was worried. That's why when I got this set I went on a GOT binge watch of all seasons.I had no problems with the discs except one. One disc in Season 5 wouldn't play. The discs had marks that looked like scratches but I wiped them off easily. Then the disc played fine. Other than that, all other discs are in perfect condition. Nothing wrong with the packaging either. None of the cases were broken at all. Also Season 1 English Subtitles for the Dothraki language is weird. For about the first half of the Season, I had to turn on the full subtitles for the Dothraki parts. For about the second half of the season, the subtitles for the Dothraki parts would play in some parts without me turning the full subs on. In some other parts, I had to turn the full English subtitles on. So the subtitles are there for the Dothraki parts, but you will need to turn full english subtitles on for some parts and then turn them off. Thankfully, this is only problem with Season 1. Future Seasons have no problem with non-english speaking partsThe digital code is one code for all seasons, and it seems HBO fixed the redemption and the code redeems all 7 seasons. I chose the Seasons 1-7 Bundle in Vudu and the code redeemed fine for all seasons.The discs are the same discs that you get in the individual seasons. That means they contain all the extra content from the individual releases. All the guides, character profiles, making of, etc. And the set has Audio Commentaries on nearly every episode. 71 Audio Commentaries in total!Another nice feature for the binge watchers out there. In every season, all of the discs (except the last disc in each season) has all the episodes in that season select-able in the menu on that disc....even episodes not on that disc. Some people may think there is no point in making menu options for episodes not on the disc. Those people are wrong. If you click in the menu on an episode that is not on the disc, a screen will come up asking to put the disc that does have the episode on it. If you eject the disc and put in the disc that has the episode you chose on it, the player will skip FBI Warnings, logos, menus, etc and go right to playing that episode! Of course, that feature may not work on all Blu Ray players.I got this for $99.99 and that was a steal! This is well worth the price. GOT is one of the best shows ever! Can't wait for Season 8!!! THE NORTH REMEMBERS!

The shows amazing with 50+- million dollars an episode I guess it better be. The dvds show signs of usage some scrachs causing it to skip but in usable condition.

What can be said about Game of Thrones (GOT) *the show* that hasn't already been said? No... this review is of the actual product itself, namely the single collection of Seasons 1-7 on blu-ray.I was very concerned about the numerous negative reviews for this product, both in blu-ray and DVD format. Ultimately decided it was worth the risk.So glad I did.Upon receipt of the collection, which was in no way damaged, I examined the discs closely. All discs were present and accounted for - no duplicates as had been indicated by other reviewers. I then popped in many of the blu-ray discs themselves (I have a Sony blu-ray player), specifically including those particular discs and/or episodes that gave other reviewers difficulty. I was relieved to find that every "problem" episode and/or disc loaded exactly as it should and played without a hitch.My wife and I have started rewatching all episodes, starting from Season 1 Episode 1, and will continue to do so right up and through the finale of Season 7. If any of the discs give us issues, I will update this review accordingly. In the meantime, as they say, no news is good news.Assuming this collection is purchased from Amazon proper and not a third party seller, I'd feel very confident in the quality of the product you receive.Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to escape our day-to-day lives by taking short, repeated vacations in Westeros!

This was my very first GoT Blu-ray purchase as I was only watching it via HBO-Now since I started the series. My primary reason for this purchase was to get the digital versions of the episodes and this worked flawlessly. Upon redeeming the code, all 67 episodes were instantly added to my iTunes library to watch anytime I want, and I’ve not had any issues with those. As others have said in more recent reviews, any of those issues that involved contacting HBO and showing them a receipt is no longer an issue. I didn’t have to do anything except enter a code online, click ‘Redeem’ and login to my iTunes. Easy!I have been able to play through and view the first 4 seasons in their entirety on the discs and have had no issues with playback or quality. I love listening to the commentary and there are so many special features I have yet to watch that I worry I may never get to them.This set is a MUST HAVE for all Game of Thrones fans. Although I was planning to wait until the complete 8-season set was released later this year to buy a blu-ray set, I knew I wouldn’t get a better deal than I got when these went on sale for <$100. I will probably still buy a complete series set, but for now this is everything I needed to help hold me off until season 8 airs.

As the title states, I loved the series! Packaging was nicely done for it also. The reason I did not rate this 5 stars is that season 7 disc 2 did not work. After playing for about 2 minutes, after the opening, it freezes. I tried to fast forward past the part that froze and as soon as I pushed play, it froze again. I tried to play it on different days and different machines with the same results. This is to bad because that disc had the dragon attack on the Lannister forces.If we can get this resolved, I will change the rating to 5 stars.

Could of had a better ending, other than that the movie was greatThanks

This arrived in fairly good condition and in good time. It was supposed to be new but had scratches on the discs so I think there was something strange going on there. Good series. I still haven't seen the whole thing, and gave it to someone else as a gift.C.D.

The 7-season bilingual GOT package in BLU-RAY format is well-worth the price.The product arrived ahead of time.On initial inspection of the contents, no DVD’s were missing and no defects noted.The DVD’s are easily removed and placed back into each slot. The packaging is compact for a 7-season set.So far, we have watched the first 4 seasons. The imagery is breathtaking and the sound excellent.No need to mention that the storyline with intrigues involving both despicably conniving characters and sympathetic anti-heros is captivating and addictive.This is a collection that will last a lifetime, since we can watch the series with its complex sub-plots many times over and see any details we missed the first time round.

Gran pack a un buen precio.Un pack que todo fan de la saga le encantará tener.Falta la 8a temporada, pero luego ya es valorar si se quieren pagar 57€ más por tener un pack completo, o tener éste y más adelante cuando tengan precios más asequibles, comprar la 8a a parte...Imagen, espectacular.Sonido, perfecto. Se puede escoger el idioma sin problemas.El paquete llegó con 8 días de retraso, pero almenos lo hizo en perfecto estado.Recomendable.
