Friends thought I was silly to buy this but a few months ago we went through a 4 day power outage. Guess who had light at night to read buy. Sun charged it during the day. The ?"last laugh" feels good.

It took me three purchases to get one that worked for any length of time, even though supposedly “fully charged” (kept the solar panel under direct sunlight through three days’ worth of sunshine each time).Purchased for bedside lighting, it works more like a night light rather than any amount sufficient to comfortably read in bed.I just got tired of returning them so I kept the third one. It’s aesthetically appealing as decor but that’s all I can recommend it for, I’m afraid.

I bought this lamp over the year ago and let me tell you it is so nice, bright, sturdy, and reliable. I have wind picks up pretty badly at my house by the beach, and this lamp has been knocked over countless times without any damage, I’m so sad to say it finally was too brittle from the sun and the shade cracked after this last crazy wind we had, I’m so sad to see that it’s unavailable for purchase at the moment, I really hope it comes back because I plan on buying two.

Nice outdoor lamp, in fact I have two of them. After 6 weeks of use, the first one I purchased began to lose illumination power so I changed the rechargeable batteries (3 / AAA). That seems to have taken care of the problem, but I would have expected much longer life from the original batteries. Be aware that the lamp is only about 8 inches tall.

This is a nice, low light, but the battery at the top of the shade makes it top heavy and more easily unstable. I transfer it in and out a lot to catch the sun rays. Easily dropped. Understand this is probably the way it has to be and have encountered this same problem with other solar powered lights. Wish the light could be brighter. Happy to support the technology until these things can be perfected.

Easy to assemble. Not very bright. Was brighter the first few days and lasted all night. After that, it lasts about 2 hours and is not very bright. I charge it in the sunshine don’t seem to be worth it to me. Sorry.
