The pictures and description given by the seller make it seem as this is a region 1 US copy of the game. It is not. Had to return it. For those not sure why that difference matters, I will explain.While the PS5 is not region locked, it will play a disc from whatever region. This is true. HOWEVER, if you wish to play online or download any additional content, you must have a disc from your registered region.I was very disappointed to get the wrong disc.

The disc we received was zoned for Europe. So if you live in the States you cannot download any add ons to use in the game. Luckily I found this out before the return window closed. Unfortunately I had to send it back.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE IN THE U.S. AND PLAN ON GETTING DLC. Did not notice anywhere on the product page that it was UK version. The pictures even show U.S. version (ESRB rating M as opposed to Pegi 18). Case came damaged and disc was not secure. Haven't played yet waiting for it to install. I don't think the game is region locked, but dlc definitely is. You won't be able to download and play any dlc. Will update when I actually play it.

Waste of money. Can’t buy the characters. Was supposed to come with a free download. The download is for all other countries. Not USA. Waste of money. Will not order again

This is coming from a long time mortal kombat fan who played the games for years and would preorder the games everytime one came out. Mortal kombat 11 had a decent customization for their characters. For MK 1 I can’t say the say the same. I unlocked so much just playing the mk11 story and then after beating mk1 I only locked 1 or 2 skins maybe. The customization feels so limited it’s disappointing I was waiting months for this game. Story was great, gameplay is great, just the customization that sucks.

Item arrived with no issues however, no where is it stated that this is the UK version of the game meaning I can’t add any dlc. Very annoyed that I have to return this and repurchase the game.

This game is NOT new! There is no code for downloadable content as the case says and there were fingerprints on the game and smudges on the case. It was also not sealed.

For those who wondering it is the NA version of the game so no stress of being able to get the dlc. Not sure about stateside. 20 bucks cheaper then in stores, retail is a thing of the past and getting games cheaper is great ,Amazon never seems to fail me. fastest shipping, best prices when its Non 3rd party of course). and shipped with care. What the heck else could a person ask for?

game arrived on time, new and no damages. game has a good story , new finishing moves and different side mission such as invasion. runs great on PS5.
