Showed up quick charge lasts a long time boosted truck once boat twice and riding lawn mower about 7 times and still on full charge. So far great product no complaints yet

I purchased this item as one of 2 portable items needed in my family vehicle for road trips and some local trips. (The other was a portable powered tire inflator.) Being in California, it is needed since my family can be in a beach, a desert, snow, etc. in a matter of a few hours or less and it’s is necessary to be prepared.I have bought the DBPower brand before, a former jump starter, and its form factor is convenient. Just like the last one, when you have a car that needs a jump start, you just pop the hood on that vehicle, and for me, power the unit, plug in the specialized plug, wait for the green “ok” light on the connecting plug, connect the positive and negative clamps, wait a bit, then start your vehicle. These are slightly abridged instructions, and it is good to know a few things like this battery will beep at you should the cable be connected to the wrong terminals (polarity) and that for safety, if after 30 seconds of inactivity, the unit will power down to prevent electrical accidents.I got to use this jump starter, and like the older version I have, it’s simple to use and has been intuitive to use. I got to use it over this passed weekend for someone at a nature park who needed a jump / battery died. I’m sure for them it was valuable to have this assistance as they didn’t have a roadside assistance program nor cables handy, and it was easier than having to arrange a second vehicle pull up next to them and join both vehicle’s batteries for a jump. Additionally, convenient for owner is the unit as a kit (with storage and it’s short cables) is more compact than bundled 10-15 ft jumper cables on their own.I would recommend this jump start kit to anyone based on its ease of use and feel it is a good value that will easily pay for itself with a few uses. This version, the 88wh one, is slightly larger that the older model we had, and though I have not tested it, feel good about it’s sturdier feeling build and promise of some water resistance.Being essentially a large battery, I feel comfortable there is a handy built-in flashlight, and it has an sos mode should you chose to use this battery as that kind of a safety beacon in an emergency / etc. For road trips, this device also has 2 USB female plugs if you needed to charge 2 devices on the go.There isn’t anything I could really fault about this product as it performs as expected and on par with the last DBPower jump starter I got for my family. This being newer though, it is slightly larger physically and offers a bit more power capacity. One thing I would recommend is that you buy the DBPower EVO foam hard case for this product. (These should be the last 2 photos and these were not included in the purchase, but available from DBPower.) As is, it only comes with a soft side bag, which I don’t feel offers as much protection as the hard sided case, which was included with the last jump starter model I bought. Please note, it will be a tight fit and wasn’t technically intended, but it is better than to do without. Also the instruction mention having your own universal charger handy to use with the included charging cable, which usually comes with the purchase of most cell phones, iPads, etc.I will update this review as needed. Very happy with this product. I ran a capacity test and it surprisingly met and even slightly exceeded the battery capacity spec. I've used it to boost a few times and it worked great.

I’m a single lady on my own and a lot of times I’m traveling in my own. This battery jump starter makes me feel safer when I’m out on the road or in town. It’s a more confident way to get a jump start without having to carry bulky jumper cables and finding another car to give you that jump. This battery pack also has a flash light and will charge your smart devices.I was so impressed with it that a shared with friends and at least 2 of them purchased from my share. I also bought 2 more for gifts.My son is in the military and is in the field a lot with work or hunting. This was a perfect gift for him to keep in his truck wherever he goes!
