Surecom SW-28HF 1.5MHz-60MHz 120W Mini V.S.W.R. & Power Meter

Meter is very accurate compared to other meter readings and vector analysis of my antenna setup. Can be left in line connected to monitor changing conditions and wattage settings. PEP wattage measurement tops out at 169 watts so if your radio swings higher than that, its harder to get a max PEP reading above. Great little meter considering my PEP swings around 175 watts. Measurement from deadkey can go all the way down to 1/2 watt so this meter is very flexible and can be used bearfoot on a radio thats stock!

Nice compact size. Display is bright and clear. The "power" readings seem to concur with other meters. The "SWR" readings also coincide with my RigExpert. I use this for portable activations on the HF bands with <100watts. More or less as insurance! I have had the chance to run it for about 3 hours, battery meter is all but "full"!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Decent little portible watt meter. Works and is accurate enough. The built in battery does work when out in the field. Inexpensive for a field meter.

Excellent meter for the price. I compared its readings to other meters that I have (while all meters read with minor differences) and it was on par with them. It is surprisingly small & lightweight which makes it perfect for portable and POTA operations

I’ve been using analog SWR meters since the mid 80’s and I thought it was time to go digital, I chose this one just to give it a try after reading numerous reviews, after reading the instructions I put it to a test and compared readings between my analog and this new digital SWR meter, as for accuracy goes the digital meter registered the same results as my analog, it is very user friendly.

ZERO quality testing. My product would light up, but would not operate at all. The TX input was a direct short circuit. The Antenna Output connector was an open circuit. To see if this was a one-off problem, I have ordered a return/replacement and will test a second unit. Update: The replacement, second unit arrived today. Dead on arrival. Short-Circuit on both input and output. This manufacturer clearly is not using any quality controls, testing before shipping, or training on the assembly line. STAY AWAY!!

Tiny and useful.

The manual could be more instructive but overall I like this meter , great for watching your swr !

Good little SWR meter I had analogue one before it was good but with digital you can see more precise I like can see all at once and no calibrating. I went into menu and did how I wanted it, I then thought it's not saved it then I realised you scroll pass exit for save option. So that was my fault lol. Seems accurate. Very good value for money too. Easy to use, it even comes with easy to read instructions too.
