Functional
A decent match. Screw holes are a bit too small.

good quality but a bit expensive
the truss rod cover is well cut and of good quality, but I consider it to be very expensive for what it really is, you should also keep in mind that the screws are not included.

Fits perfect on les Paul standard
Perfect fit and nice quality. White edge is a little thicker than current new Gibson OEM part; it looks closer to the historic version. I was hesitant to get non-gibson but no complaints at all, nice part

Impossible to remove plastic coating
Bought this to replace the garish cover on my Gibson Les Paul Trad Pro V. I have spent over 20 minutes trying to remove the plastic coating. I’m about ¼ done and am giving up. I can’t get any more off. Complete waste of time and money

High quality truss rod cover
This thing is awesome. It’s not as skinny as an original historic truss rod cover. It’s the same exact size as the newer ones, but the white bevel is large like the old one. It’s the best of both worlds. The only downfall was that the screws did not just drop in, but that was an easy fix. I just had to put the screws in and screw them into the plastic with my screw driver, the. Put it on the guitar and screw it down. It was easy that’s why I’m not taking a star away, but it’s like 7 bucks compared to Gibson’s 20 dollar, so either way it’s a win win. I will be ordering another one and having it engraved with a special name on it. Very high quality, I’d say even better than Gibson’s covers at a fraction of the price. I am very pleased with this cover.

Pretty Close....
As you can see in the picture, the one on the right is the real deal historic, the one on the left is the Amazon one.... Pretty close.. Especially when you see that they are getting 70 bucks on sites like Creamtone...... Not bad...

Quality truss rod cover
Better and cheaper than the Gibson original, I ended up ordering 2. The only issue was that the holes were not as wide as the original which is easily fixed. A small price to pay for a quality replacement for my Gibson SG standard and LP classic.

Acceptable Finish, Fit is Off
The finish is fair as is the separation between the white and black plies. However, the fit is off enough to be an annoyance. It appears to be warped and will not lay flat on the headstock. It's not that big of a deal but a closer look does reveal where the cover does not lay flat in several places.
