Parker Classic 9000023059 Chrome Trim Ball Pen (Navy Blue)

As I remember having one of these pens back in high school as a gift, I decided to order again as I like the line of Parker pens. After some delay the pen arrived from India. The packaging, while entirely legitimate as it indicated it was made in India under license, showed that it was destined for sale only in India and Nepal. San Francisco, at last check, does not appear to be anywhere close to those specific countries, so that made the purchase questionable to me.After a few weeks of using the pen, here are my observations:1, Shipped with blue ink, though the product spec on the Amazon web site indicated black ink - not a big issue, but if you advertise black, ship black2. The barrel of the pen is much slimmer than I recall - I also bought a 5mm pencil in the same line from a USA based vendor and that pencil has a larger barrel ( I also have a Parker Jotter pen and that barrel is larger than this pen)3. The click mechanism is already malfunctioning and not fully retracting the ink barrel unless I push it against something, though it is intermittent - by comparison the 5mm pencil is working perfectly4. No Parker logo on the top of the click mechanism - unsure if this is because of the licensing agreements or something elseOverall disappointed with this purchase. You may wish to shop elsewhere if you are looking for something that more closely approximates what you may have experienced with a USA product in this line of Parker pens.

Description says that it comes with an extra original black Parker refill, but it did not. All I received was the pen which has a blue ink cartridge inside.

It took forever to arrive, as other reviewers have already said, but it worth the wait. I ordered the same pen from another seller that manufactured the pen in France, but this version is waaaay better. I am a huge Parker fan and I have tons of pens, which is why I can honestly say that this particular one, from this seller, is the best. I will buy more for my friends.

INK COLOR IS BLUE!!!!!! We and another person we know ordered these pens (4 total between us) and they are ALL blue. The description says that they come with black ink. They are ok, considering there are not many inexpensive all steel pen options, but these were not as expected and for the price they are not terribly well made.

It functions as a pen quite well. Made of durable materials, simple design and uses common refills. However, the sound of the click is pretty loud and the pointed part of the clip is too pointy. It poked a hole in my shirt pocket on the first day. I would have given this item five stars with a warning about the loud click if it hadn't damaged my clothing.

My boss will only use these pens and loses them all the time. He says it's a tiny bit different than the ones we've gotten before, but for the price, totally worth it! Arrived sooner than expected. Ordered a few and after they came, ordered 10 more.

Arrived so fast I was worried that it might get a ticket....All joking aside this pen is a replacement for a cherished gift from a mentor who instilled a love of writing and writing instruments

I love these thin parker classics along with the old papermate slim profile double heart pens, wish both were still in production

I just received my package and item/case and envelope was damaged.

What I don’t like, I was lied to. The pen in the picture is a Parker Classic as you can tell by the pen clip being part of the body of the pen.

Great pen for gifts. These classics are thin barrells similar to Cross thickness.

Classic parker pen. Lately they don't make them as durable as used to be. I use Parker pens every day for 2 decades and I replace jotters constantly. They hold ok.
