BOGS Men's 72913 Rain Boot

I use boots to hunt and do chores around my rural house all year. Typically boots may give me two or three years of service if I patch them once or twice. I have had a few pairs of Bogs classic high and mainly the upper rubber sponge calf gets pierced or torn by sticks and such. These appear to have some sort of additional webbing in the calf sponge rubber inside. So here are I my observations;PROS; Adjustable calf accommodates thicker hunting pants. Sole is a thick robust material. Support is good. Sole is molded NOT glued as other boots I have had so this will not fail as easily. The upper rubber material has a firmer feeling inner web material that should be more resistant to puncture. Nice heel cleat for fast removal.CONS Tread pattern is a bit wimpy and not the knobby tread as the classic high. The rubber is a bit hard and likely may crack around flex points eventually. I am 10 1/2 and have size 11 which works but is still a bit tight especially with thick socks.

Fell in the half size black hole. Boot was good quality but a little on the heavier side for what I needed
