Traditional Historic Pigment Drawing Inks are produced according to ancient recipes that using vegetable dyes. Oak Gall Black was, from about the 5th century to the 19th century, the standard writing and drawing ink in Europe. It remained in use well into the 20th century. It is a black ink with purple-brown undertones. Comes in a glass vial.
