My goodness I just love this bin,just wave your hand over it and it opens up and closes shortly afterwards. So hygienic, that the only time i actually touch the bin is when emptying and replenishing new bag,plus cleaning the bin.great price also, I'm so pleased i chose this bin.very modern looking too for a bin,in its colour range.its also a great size for me.not too big and bulky but fits 50l bags in nicely,with a good overlap to push under the ring. Superb

It’s not as robust as I was expecting and I doubt it would be suitable for a busy household. However it suits my needs.

Good looking bin. Opens and closes every time you go near it even if you don’t want to put something in.

Very neat looking item and fits nicely into my small kitchen. It is very sensitive though and often opens as I walk past it. If it can be put into a place which is not walked past constantly, it is a great piece of equipment. You must however ensure that you know exactly where the sensor is - it appears to be at the front and not where you would think, looking at the black sensor part. I have had my hands full of rubbish and haven't been able to put the rubbish in quick enough because I haven't caught the right part of the sensor to open the bin quick enough before dropping most of the rubbish on the floor. It just takes getting used to really, if one hasn't had an automatically opening bin before. I tend to place my leg in front of the sensor now and haven't dropped anything else on the floor since! I sincerely hope that it lasts a long time though. I had believed the bin came with a one year guarantee but nothing was in the packaging. I do like the item however and it was a great price. I would recommend this equipment to everyone.

Product looked fine and worked well when batteries were installed. However, The product information when purchasing did not mention that it would not work in a cupboard - under the kitchen sink in my case. It did mention this on the product instructions enclosed with the item. This should be mentioned in the sales information for buyers to see if the item is right for them. I suspect most, if not all, motion sensor kitchen waste bins are like this.

Perfecta para la cocina, es grande, llevo una semana con ella y el sensor funciona a la perfección......

Es una maravilla. Me daba bastante miedo por el sensor. La cocina es muy transitada y en mi caso muy estrecha yno quería verlo todo el día funcionando pero la verdad es que tienes que ponerte prácticamente encima para que te detecte. Además tiene un interruptor y tú la puedes apagar a tu gusto. El diseño es moderno y sencillo. Muy pero que muy bonita. La aconsejo por supuesto.

Ya la utilizo desde hace unos meses y funciona muy bien. Diseño muy bonito.

es robusto y tiene mucha capacidad ( la normal de un cubo de cocina). quiza la abertura resulta un poco pequeña para un cubo de cocina ya que tienes que espachurrar los cartones por ejemplo de envases de pizza antes de meterlos. Se mantiene abierto el tiempo suficiente y no es ruidosa. si se pulsa el interruptor y se apaga el funcionamiento, se puede dejar abierto todo el rato. funciona con 4 pilas normales.
