The thinner 'felt' filter doesn't appear to be felt - but some kind of fiber mat. Kind of smooth on one side, a little more 'fuzzy' on the other. The thicker foam filter is not cut very symmetrical - and therefore doesn't fit very well. On one side it bulges a little so needs to be slightly squeezed into place on the vacuum. One of the corners is a little more rounded (less 'pointy') than it should be - and therefore leaves a small gap when inserted into the vacuum. Undoubtedly, that gap is going to allow dust particles to flow past.I should have just returned it - but I thought that I could trim it a little and make it work. Not easy to trim smoothly with scissors! Oh well, I guess I own it now.

The foam filter did not fit properly.The Hepa filter and flat filter fit so I used those and decided to re-use my old foam filter.

Fit perfectly. Allows me to thoroughly clean original filters and switch back and forthbetween clean filters for better smell and pick p.

So nice to get these quickly and in a value pak.

Slightly lower quality then the filters that came with the vacuum, but overall they seem a great value for the money. The foam filter is not as dense as the original, but works well and washes cleaner then the original would. The hepa filter has less ridges then the original, so may clog earlier in the long run, but at this price you could change two or three times for the cost of original replacements. The felt pad is similarly less dense then the original but sufficient enough to last the life of the hepa filter. Changing these filters has restored my vacuum back to it s original power and it actually seems to have more suction then it did when new.

It's actually 1 set of "pre-filter foam & felt" and not 2 sets of "pre-filter foam & felt" as listed.So the picture is accurate and not the description. This is incorrectly described and misleading because every other ad that says "2 pre-filter foam & felt" means 2 sets.I returned without using, so can't comment on efficacy.

First on the product: It works great, that's why we continuously purchase it.Second on the service from Amazon: Great customer service from Amazon. The product got delayed in transit (not Amazon's fault), so they refunded my purchase, and ordered me another one. Was very pleased.

the filter material is not the same as the original so be careful. For example, the filter, where the air exits, is made out of paper filter material. the original one was black and had a sponge-like material. Black because it had carbon to absorb order. This one looks like a filter for a car, that kind of material. the vacuum is a bit louder with this filter. the only filter that looked and feel like the original one is the triangle shaped sponge filter. Probably would not buy again, was tricked thinking it was the same material

The filter pad is not quite the same quality foam as the filter that came with the machine, but it is pretty good. I've washed it once and it cleaned up well but left a few more traces of dust than the original. The original filter foam is stiffer and more porous than the replacement. I rated the Clean Fairy 4 stars because it does seem to be pretty good, and if I couldn't get a Shark replacement filter, I would definitely buy this.
