My son bought a headset with the integrated adapter for mic and speaker, didn’t work on the pc jack. Picked this up, works perfectly.

Exactly what I was looking for
These are so good when your computer requires both output and input when your headphones only gave you output and input in one. They don't get tangled up, and they don't get rid of the sound quality.

Works exactly as advertised
I plugged my wired Xbox headphones into one end and the two plugs on the other end into the jacks on my computer and poof! now I have 2-way sound on Discord and in games. It's awesome!

Works, but not quite as one would expect
I found that the female portion works properly only if the plug that is placed in it is backed out 2 or 3 millimeters. Interestingly, this is the opposite of what another reviewer wrote.
