Excellent little kettle for the disabled
The only problem with this kettle if you are disabled is that the lid is held down by the spout by a little knob either side which makes it very difficult to open. These could easily be filed down a little. A previous model labelled "Buffalo" did not have this problem.

kettle
seems like a good sturdy kettle it is very light so useful for anyone with weak arms or hands it does take about six mins to boil a litre but not a problem unlike many kettles it has a strong positive on/off switch and a clear water level gauge .its cheaper by far from next day catering as ive seen it at double the price on disabled aids sites.

Doesn't quite meet the need
This kettle was bought for a friend who can no longer lift a full size kettle. It doesn't quite meet the need because it is very slow to boil and awkward to get off the stand. It also has quite a short mains lead so doesn't really suit the situation it's it.

Great Customer Service
I bought this kettle for my elderly Mother since she could no longer lift a large kettle safely. She has found it to be just what she needed but unfortunately the switch developed a fault after a few months and it no longer came to the boil. I contacted the seller and they delivered a replacement the next working day. No quibble and no need to send the old one back. The replacement works perfectly. Well done and thank you.
