There is nothing cheap about this box. It is sturdy, has a nice texture to it, and the plastic top is not flimsy. This should be a good gift giving box for any amateur baker.It folds into position rather nicely. A lot of bakery boxes I have used tend to collapse or unfold unless you secure them during assembly, but this one stays together without any tape or clips.The cardboard is thick enough that you might be able to chance putting your goods directly onto it, and grease won’t disintegrate it. I am lining mine with wax paper just in case though.I will definitely be getting these again next time I send out my chocolates.
