Works great!
Put the shades on right when I got it and sure enough, the sun blocking the sensor stopped. Works as advertised.

Door wouldn’t work in the sun
This was a perfect fit and corrected the issue I was having when the sun was out. The sun was too bright on the sensor and the door wouldn’t close. This corrected the issue!

They work
Price was definitely high for what a paid for (2) plastic cylinders, but they fit and seem to improve the ability to close my garage door in the afternoon on sunny days.

Nice but...
It was easy to install and helped 90% of the time but there is still part of the day where these do not help, and the sun hits the sensor eye.

They work
As the year goes on the angle of the rising or setting sun can keep your garage opener sensors from working until the sun moves on. Maybe 20 minutes your door could be inoperative each day. These slip on tubes keep the sun out of the sensor lens.Just make sure your current sensors fit these extensions. Not all sensors do. But Amazon also has the correct sensors for a reasonable price.
