This product is very breathable & stretchy. I like that it covers me 360 so even when my baby is flopping like a fish, I’m still covered. It’s very soft & lightweight & folds up small: easy for sticking on the side of a diaper bag.

We've been through ups and downs with the milk snob!In the beginning it was nice as I got used to feeding in public, but it was impossible to keep my sweet girl awake for a full feeding bc she would get really warm and fall asleep almost immediately. I also used it when visitors came over in the first weeks, it was nice for her to take a sensory break under whether or not she was actually nursing, but again stressful bc she'd fall asleep if it was time to eat. After I became confident and shame free about feeding my baby around others we stopped using it bc of that heat, I was constantly fanning her with it and opening it up to blow in her face. I had to go inside of it with her to latch her on, and to make eye contact with her, so for a while it just wasn't for us.Then at about five months we brought it back out bc our sweet girl got to be soooo distractible, which makes it impossible to finish a feeding with the world being so interesting. Now she's big enough to stick out of the bottom and keep cool so it works well for us. We like it more than ever, and I don't mind going inside of it so much anymore to share those looks of love!We never used it as a car seat cover since our Nuna has the dream canopy, but I imagine it would help keep in some heat and even protect baby from a light rain. I don't know that we'll use it as a shopping cart cover but maybe a high chair cover?The fabric is light, and oh so soft, but though breathable also holds in heat.
