Works Well!
After I got around the learning curve of making these cookies, I found that the skillet works pretty well. I used it on a gas burner. I would not advise using this in an oven as it advertises due to the wood handles. I am not sure an electric stove would work very well either, as a lot of the skillet would not be making any contact with the heating element. I had some trouble cooking the batches of cookies evenly - some would be much darker than others - but that is user error. I wish it was a little bigger and made more pieces at once. Once you get a system down that works for you with cooking, removing, and filling the molds again, they do cook pretty quickly! One thing I had to learn the hard way was that it is wise to make sure you have the right amount of filling in each cookie well before you start heating the pan again or it will ooze the dough everywhere. You will learn about how much dough fits in there after you make a few batches. It's a little bit of a messy process, and it is difficult to work/press the dough in because the pan is still hot between batches. My method for getting the right amount of dough is this: Form little dough cylinders to place in each cookie well. Mine were very similar in size/shape to a mini tootsie roll. Very lightly spray the top side of the mold (the indentation part) with cooking oil. Close the mold, for a few seconds to fill the molds and shape the dough. When you open the mold, the dough should stay on the bottom because of the cooking spray. At this point I removed the extra dough that squished out of the too-full wells and added a little extra to the ones that weren't completely filled. The unfortunate part is that the hot pan will cook the extra dough that is removed during this process so there is some waste. The good part is that the extra dough isn't dripping all over your burner. If you're the patient type maybe you could weigh each piece of dough.

Traditions and memories of the most delicious cookies that can still be made today.
Oh yes, this cookie mold took me back to my childhood when my mom had a similar one from the Soviet era, and we used it to bake cookies filled with condensed milk. For me, it's the best cookie in the world and the sweetest memory—helping my family make them and then all sitting together at the table. I’m so happy to have bought this mold and recreated those same cookies—you can’t even imagine how much it means to me!

I like it!
The size of cookies are smaller than traditional one. But it's still OK. If it will help - I use measuring spoon to make a perfect ball. A tiny little bit more than 1/2 tsp is a perfect size to make a cookie without leftovers 👍🏻

Horrid Quality
Just like the bad reviews said...First order came in with deep scratches on the external as well as internal areas of the molds. Weird purplish colored droplet stains throughout the inside. Messaged seller about missing "ebook"...well it's a pdf and they linked me too it. Uneseccary hoop. Also, if you look at the recipe in the Product Description and compare it to the book, it's totally diffferent. The Product Description recipe doesn't tell you how much Flour lmao and when you compare to the ebook, the procedure and ingredient amounts are different. Why do this to prospective customers?Amazon Chat for return (thank god), second one came and near one of the internal hinges...whatever material they used on the inside of the mold, well it didn't get in there...picture attached. Still super scratched and weird droplet stains. I could have sworn a little bug came out of the hole when I took this picture. Killed it and washed my hands for 45 seconds.Scratched aluminum has been linked to Alzheimers Disease...this product is not safe for use. Avoid...TL;DRDeep scratches on aluminum, weird droplet stains. No eBook, recipe on Product Description is wrong (doesn't tell flour and procedure of mixing ingredients is wrong). Returned for replacement, product had holes in the foundation. Not safe, poor quality, avoid.
