Effective for Ambient Noise
I love these. They aren’t perfect for sudden noises, but I live on a very, very busy and loud street, and they drown out the ambient noise very nicely. Super easy to clean, environmentally friendly, and economical vs buying the foam ones. They also don’t itch like crazy, like some other kinds I’ve tried. They’re also durable, and they have tabs. For reference, I’m petite with normal-small ears, and they fit quite snugly. Pro tip: if you are having trouble getting a good seal, pull gently on the tab, and it will create a super gentle vacuum that will drown out more noise.

Comfortable sound protection
I find these earplugs to be comfortable (as comfortable as ear plugs ever are) and block sound as well as any I've tried. They are easy to remove thanks to the attached handle. I'm a bit skeptical of the claim of 40dB sound reduction; the most I've ever seen other products claim is 33dB, and earplugs can't block sound transfer through the skull, so some sound is always going to leak through. Quibbling over numbers aside, they do block a lot of sound.

Did not block sound
Could hear the same with these in my ears or without. They do not block any sounds. I tried twisting them in further and moving them around. They did not work for me. Maybe my ear is the wrong shape.

Still Effective! Good fit for my ears! Used bigger box.
Blocks noise effectively. Though small, fit my ears well. I wear 'large' earbuds, so I was surprised. Easy to use, but the plastic box they came in is too small for carrying them around without popping open. Found a slightly larger box, so I am happy. Would buy again. I use them in a gym class where the music is very loud. I used to use the Orange foam 32 dB ear plugs, but these are more effective, more comfortable and reusable, and they don't fall out when I'm exercising. UPDATE: been using same pair for over a year up to 20 hours a week. The work great and wash easily.

When my man is on a job site and the equipment is loud, these really do help cancel the noise
