Make sure you catch this on sale. It works as it should and is pleasant to look at but I don't believe any of the 16x16 are worth more than 25$. Just my opinion. If you can get them on sale then I think they're a fun creative device.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really neat little device! It's pretty, colorful and customizable! The app is a little weird, but it works. You can have text scroll, or cute little pictures- the time, emojis, random messages- whatever! It's something that would make a unique and interesting gift for a gamer or a gadget lover! :)

Super easy to setup and use, and there are TONS of animations and presets you can download inside the app. This is a lot of fun to setup on a loop of your favorite backgrounds.You can customize a sequence that will scroll through your favs, and I love the vibe it gives in my office. The music effects are very cool as well, and it works great for this.Lastly, my kids really enjoy scrolling messages across when I'm busy on calls, or if they need to get my attention. This is fun for everyone. Also scrolling the sports scores across, although Its a manual process since there is no web connection on the actual display.I couldn't be happier with this, I'm blown away at how easy and fun it is to use! Awesome product.

The media could not be loaded. At first, I was hesitant to order this product, but I'm so glad I did. It's incredibly fun and makes a fantastic gift, especially for gamers. I've been using it to create cool holiday animations and decorative displays, like Santa Claus, Christmas trees, and much more. The app might seem a bit intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll realize how much fun it is. You can create your own graffiti designs, animations, and even sync it to your music – the possibilities are truly endless! The display itself is very lightweight and connects to power via a USB cable. It includes a stand for tabletop use or can be easily hung on the wall. My only wish is that it had a built-in battery so the cord wouldn't be visible when framed. That said, a portable battery pack provides a simple solution for wireless freedom. So if you're looking for a great gift, this one should definitely be on your radar. Love it!

The app is honestly just awkward to use. It could have been so much better with just a little bit more work. The product itself is absolutely fantastic and it makes a great gift. My husband streams on twitch and this was absolutely perfect for his background.

This is such a difficult review to write because I love this pixel display so much but it is hopelessly broken by the terrible software making it almost useless.Let's start with the positives:The iDotMatrix app (Android and iOS) for this display has a lot of really talented artists that put some awesome animations and artwork on the cloud which can be used on your display.The display is colorful and vibrant, it's a real show stopper.The "pixels" have a retro CRT effect where it looks like you're zooming in on an old computer screen.It has a stand so you can put it on your desk but you can also mount it on a wall using the mounting holes on the back.Now for the bad bits, and they so numerous I'm just going to hit the highlights:There is zero information on how to use the iDotMatrix app and contrary to its app store description is anything but intuitive.On Android the app's save button for your own art is a mysterious "]" in the upper right side of the screen. It's so small I didn't even see it for like an hour as I tried to figure out how to save my work.The app is insanely buggy, see the photos of me using the mirror option and the app or display just ignoring it.When I finally figured out how to save my work when I went back to the app to do some animation on my panda face the app deleted my work.On my Apple devices it's just as bad, but in different ways.I'm just going to leave it there because I really, really wanted to love this display but the software is so, so bad.For the horrible software I reluctantly have to give this pixel display a D+.

This is so cool because you can download any photo to it and it creates a pixel version. You have to look at it from far away to know what the image is and up close it just looks like an abstract piece of light art. I love it. It can also be a clock but who needs another clock?
