Good grade metal. I don't know what i'm on them.Bite pedals
Great smoothness, when pedaling, the bicycle looks great. Good value for the money. Good build material functionality is great. It was a breeze, swapping out the old pedals with these new designed bike pedals

Lightweight metal pedals that don’t cost much more than plastic
Upgrading bike pedals from the cheap stock plastic ones to a decent set of metal pedals is one of the simplest, but best value upgrades you can make to a bike. The cheap plastic pedals don’t grip shoes well, are easily scratched or cracked, and the bearings wear out from heavy use. These pedals represent a big upgrade on all fronts and don’t cost much more than a basic set of plastic pedals. The bearings are smooth and serviceable, the grips are good, but not too aggressive, and they’re lightweight enough to fit in on a hybrid bike. These will make a great upgrade on my wife’s hybrid bike.

Disappointing grip
The ad says stainless steel screws but they are NOT. They just a[pear to be cast as part of the pedal and have very rounded and smoothed over painted edges. I’m giving this 2 stars because they’re marketed and manufactured to look like grippy mountain bike pedals. The reality is, they will probably provide less grip than what you’re taking off. The platform is nice and wide and they look cool but I’d recommend getting something else.

Basic pedals.
If you're looking for a basic pair of pedals that are just a step up from stock plastic, then here you go.The pins are molded in and are not changeable. Nice wide platform to reduce hot spots. They're okay for cheap pedals. Better than stock plastic but a far cry from more expensive, higher-quality pedals.

Cheap bearings.
Not good, buy from a name brand you know and trust. Unless you’re trying to be a YouTube reviewer.

Great upgrade for an older bike
I picked up a used bike that had the original standard pedals that you find on lots of bikes. I wanted a wider platform and these have been great for that purpose. The short nubs (anti-skid nails) also contribute to a solid foot placement, but I would worry about putting these pedals on a kids bike unless that kid is an experienced rider. Installation was a breeze and I had no problem threading these on to the crank arms after applying a bit of grease to simplify removal in the future. They look great, work well, and I am happy with them.

Bike pedals
Great value for a sturdy pair of replacement bike pedals. The large, flat pedals have spikes for not slipping. Easy to install on most bikes. Great for mountain bikes.

Fine as casual pedals, but not recommended for mountain biking.
The product listing gives several hints that these are more oriented towards casual riding, things like the quote in the image "grip matter less since I'm electrified" and "Comfort e-bike pedal" but the SEO runs away a bit with things like "Also Serve as Road/Mountain Bike Pedals" which is where I have to disagree. These pedals offer less grip than any pedals I've ever used, and the "Smooth Surface and Polished Anti-Skid Nails" statement is absolutely correct, despite being self-contradictory. The "nails" used on mountain bike pedals are generally a threaded-in spike which can be replaced when it is damaged by rocks or other pedal strikes on the trail. These polished "nails" neither provide grip nor are replacable. Also I'm not sure about the laser etched text on the pedals, it seems like it would collect dirt rather quickly. For all the people claiming these pedals are better than the plastic pedals that came on their bike, of course they are. Those plastic pedals aren't meant for riding, they're meant for testing the bike out in the store. They call them "demo pedals". You're supposed to replace them with something else, anything else. I guess these technically qualify as anything else. But for as much as these pedals don't work for me (for mountain biking) they do one thing well, which is to look like mountain bike pedals, while offering the features of comfort bike pedals. If you've got a mountain bike or an e-bike which never sees off road use, these might be good pedals for you. If you want pedals for a proper off road mountain bike, look elsewhere. If they removed the "mountain bike" language from the listing, I'd be inclined to update this review from 4 stars to 5 stars. Instead I was fooled by the styling and listing that these were appropriate for a mountain bike.
