Seemed right
I took this to check why I'm feeling pains or inflammation. My results showed low to no inflammation and my vit d was just shy of the top. I'm unsure if that is a sign of something worse going in or not. I have almost permanent costochondritis and coughing or sneezing is extremely painful. I have some other issues like palpitations and think that comes from an egg allergy I've now developed. Lucky me. I kind of want to eat eggs and things and then take the test and see if the results show it.

Very easy to use
It was all ok. Glad to do lab at home. A local hospital tried to charge me 1075 dollars for a vitamin D level. I told them forget it. Who has that kind of money? Got a Vit D and a CRP done for less than a hundred dollars.

A Frustrating Experience At Best
I cannot recommend Everlywell products. I have used at home blood tests from several manufacturers and have never had a problem. I have a degree in biology, have done phlebotomy, and feel quite comfortable taking and handling lab samples.I ordered this test which requires multiple drops of blood in circles on a test card. The first test was returned and after a delay Everlywell said there was a documentation issue with the sample draw, which I don’t understand as the only things required after registering your kit are your name, birth date, and sample date on a card, which I completed. They replaced the test. The replacement was done, and before mailing I validated the sample with the photographic application on their site; it said my sample was valid. I just got an email saying I had an insufficient sample and they were once again replacing my kit. It appears to me that either their tests are poorly designed or their lab handling processes are substandard. It’s now seven weeks since my original order and I’m once again waiting for another test kit, and of course have no results. I would absolutely not recommend dealing with this company or using their products.

Easy to read results
I have used several of the Everlywell lab tests and most of them are pretty simple to use. Insurance doesn't cover them but I am pretty much home bound and these are easy to use at home and the results are easy to read.

Effective but Slow - Everlywell Vitamin D + Inflammation Test Kit
I've turned to home testing kits after being stung by a hefty doctor’s bill, despite having PPO insurance. This Everlywell Vitamin D + Inflammation Test Kit is straightforward to use: prick your finger with the included lancet (which feels more like a nail), drop blood into the marked circles, let it dry, seal the box, attach the provided USPS label, and drop it off in a USPS mailbox. The first time I used this test, I received my results in a week, but this time it took two weeks, which is my only complaint. Despite this, I plan to continue using these tests due to their convenience and the control they offer over healthcare expenses.

Love this test!
Easy to follow instructions. User friendly. And best of all not having to make a dr appointment to check my vitamin d and inflammation markers.

I highly recommend this kit.
I have completed three at home test now and I highly recommend this product. It's easy, convenient, and the results are emailed. The finger pricker does not hurt, and the instructions are clear, everything you need is in the box. You put everything back in the box, apply the label, put it our for mail pick up, and you don't have to leave your house. I found out I was low of vitamin D, which is crucial for good health, so I am glad I purchased this kit.

Very slow processing
UPDATE: The second sample was deemed too short and I have sent them a photo showing it was not. No word back from their support. At this point I cannot recommend or proceed with caution - this is very unacceptable. I am a Medical Lab professional and I know a good card fill and a bad one. Both cards were well filled and should have been fine.I was contacted via email that there was not enough sample which is false. I am a MLT ASCP and know how to fill a blood card. Now I have to wait another week for a new kit and it will take another week to get it mailed back by the looks of the first sample processing time. If you want results in a timely manner go to your local LabCorp or Quest and have them run it. In Texas, we can order tests like Vitamin D ourselves. One just has to go to a draw station. I was hoping this kit would give us an alternative but at this point I am not hopeful.
