Flying Witch

This is strictly watch and relax anime. There is no story, no humor, no drama, no action, no romance, and no excitement. I would imagine most people would find it boring. It’s interesting enough for those who like relaxing anime, but it’s a hard anime to recommend. There are times where you almost expect a “typical anime moment” such as humor or a romantic interest and it never happens. You anticipate drama or something that will cause tension but there is none. It’s like if someone says “hey! Watch this video on my phone” and there’s a guy walking down the street and you are thinking “I wonder what’s going to happen... there’s a car coming, will he get hit by the car?... I guess not. There’s a dog coming, will he get attacked?... no. I bet he’s about to trip... nope.” And the video goes on and on and all it is, is a guy walking down the sidewalk and they uneventfully keep walking until the video ends and it leaves you wondering why nothing actually happened. The characters were ok, the animation was ok, but there just isn’t anything happening which for me made it pretty forgettable. If you know what you are getting into and watching just daily life activity strikes your interest then this is for you.

This series falls into a somewhat new category of anime referred to as "healing anime". They're shows that are usually very mellow and laid back with peaceful music and not a whole lot going on in terms of story. Its usually just watching characters have fun with each other (ex- Laid Back Camp is just watching girls have fun camping together). In this case, its just watching a witch (well, a few witches) go about her day. That's really the only explanation I can give, honestly. Its cute, its peaceful and relaxing, and its a great watch.

I'll start with this. If you are looking for something that is more eclectic, or high energy, you will not find it in this show. The only energetic character is Chinatsu, and it is in bursts. However, if you are looking for an anime to just chill on the couch, or in the recliner, and watch to be entertained and absorbed in a simple comfy show, this is definitely one of those shows. I heartily recommend it giving it a watch, either subbed or dubbed.

I love this movie. Every episode. I'm a adult who love animation. And this was a movie I had to add to my collection.

A relaxing, sweet hearted little anime that is sort of like drinking herbal tea. Almost seems to have been produced to act as a tonic to relieve the stressful living of day-to-day life in the dog eat dog world of the big city. A true slice-of-life anime in which you get to glimpse a short span of time in the life of a few people with an interesting background.

I fell in love with this series on Crunchyroll so I decided to add it to my collection.Quiet slice of life comedy/drama and a nice change of pace from the usual moe stuff.If you want a simple and charming anime to chill with this is the one to pick up.

It was good had modern day witches in it trying to make a living in the everyday life

excellent animation with a good story line. Not flashy but solid characters with some drama and comedy.

日本アニメの海外版は、音声が日本語オンリーだったり、日本語音声に被せるように他言語が入っていたりするものが結構あるのですが、こちらは英語音声、日本語音声＋英語字幕の二種類から選べ、ヒアリングの練習に使えるのが嬉しいです。欲を言えば、字幕と音声が別々に選べればなお良かったのですが。英語訳の完成度？は、非常に高いです。ふらいんぐうぃっちは、もともと津軽弁があったり、日本語の同音異義語をネタに使っていたりと、英語に置き換えるのがなかなか大変だと思うのですが、例えば、津軽弁の部分は崩しまくったブロークンな英語を使っていたりして、日本語のニュアンスをうまく残したまま英訳していると思います。画質はブルーレイなので、本当に綺麗ですし、字幕を我慢すれば、日本語版としても充分楽しめます。PS3で再生していますが、ほかの方のレビューにあった、リップシンク問題？は、特に感じませんでした。ふらいんぐうぃっち・ぷちも入ってますし、この値段なら大満足です。唯一気になるのは、ディスクの回転音が大きいことでしょうか。まあ、うちのPS3が悪いのかも知れませんが……

内容は文句なく、かつコストも悪くない。PCでの再生がプレーヤーの関係かやや不安定な部分もあるが、選択によっては劇中の日本語部分への英字振り仮名などを除き字幕も解除可能な様子。設定は面倒だが。PS3では字幕は消えないようですが、再生不具合はいまのところ無い。また、英語音声の内容が日本語本編の言葉遣いのようにやや易しい内容なので、リスニングも確かに行いやすい。

リップシンクは問題ありませんでした。以前、別のお皿で、リップシンクの問題が発生した際、ファームアップで解消された事がありました。同様の問題が発生した際は、最新ファームを探されることをお勧めします。
