Iv used the no name brand on amazon before and it does work, but this stuff is much better. Recommend using this if you have a nicer bike and really care about the brake performance

Nice housing and if you will be replacing housing for more than a few bikes, this keeps the price down, as the housing/cable kits can be a tad expensive. I use a dremel tool to cut this housing, and it doesn't give me any problems cutting. I have also used a pair of steel snips that works well for cutting cables and housing, but it does crush this housing when doing so, and leave an edge. Otherwise, this has lasted well, throughout a winter so far without the cables feeling too different, and I will probably replace the cables before replacing housing.

Great spool of housing. As long as you have the tools to cut it, this should service many bikes.

This was bought for the 3500 mm stainless brake cable in another review. The combination of this housing and the slick stainless cable work VERY well. I suspect that a few cyclists suffer with poor braking that is related to cheap cable and or housing. It can be remarkable what a difference an inexpensive upgrade of such parts can make.

I didn't realize that it came with metal caps for the ends so I didn't need to order them. It has lubrication built in which is also nice.

Good value great product

Buy the 30 ft roll...if you make a mistake, there is always a supply left. Best to cut and trim with a Dremel tool.

Love the quality, price and convenience of having a roll in the shop. Can't go wrong with Jagwire.
