I laughed so much reading this book; hugely enjoyable but important in its challenging of perceived entitlement, bullying and our often meek response to this, inside and outside the workplace. Delightfully frank, it’s reassuring to know we’re not alone.

I devoured this book way faster than I thought it would! It's not the type of book I usually reach for but as a people pleaser at heart, I couldn't help but pick up a book titled with a phrase I catch myself saying far too often.It was a lighthearted, fun read that had me invested in the main characters story. Now that it's over, it's got me noticing just how much I use 'sorry' in my own everyday language

It’s a woman’s world and main character Charlotte is just getting to grips with it! This book is written with humour, warmth and a valuable lesson for women of all ages. Lucy tells a story packed with scenarios working women face everyday but interlaced with so much humour and laugh out loud moments you can’t help but sympathise, agree and sign up to her pledge!The perfect holiday read!! And bonus if you’re a fellow Geordie.

Ordered on pre order and what joy it arrived while I was recovering from an operation. Literally a page turner! Such a valuable read for women, daughters - in fact everyone who wants to gain insight into why we overly apologise and how to make a change, all wrapped around an hysterical and relatable storyline. Brilliant author, brilliant read, must buy!

A highly enjoyable diversion with relatable characters, many authentic Newcastle references and a feel good plot. Read it whilst travelling for business and it helped quell my homesickness. Absolutely loved it and immediately passed it to my daughter once I’d finished. Buy it!
