Works well, sounds good
For me the valves/tubes were very easy to fit, didn't need to remove the copper ring. Fosi must've listened to feedback and improved their processes.Build quality is very good. Case Is nicely anodised and smooth rounded corners. Looks the part. The soundMakes digital music sound more analogue. It doesn't smother the sound, but makes it that bit sweeter when required. It isn't like dumping 1Kg (2 pounds!) of sugar on your strawberries, for me it's a tiny dusting with a little cream just to dress it up. If that's your thing then go for it. If you don't think you don't want the sharp edges smoothed off a little it's still worth trying. You might like it.The switching and de-thump is very well managed, no pops and nasty clicks, helps protect your tweeters if you use it to drive a power amp like I do.Things that can be improvedAn extra input, say 3.5mm would be very welcome for another source. And a low pass (sub) output for those with a subwoofer.Perhaps that can be a new product for Fosi?

Valves are a sod to fit - very little gain. Not much "Wow!"
As others have said, the valves are a nightmare to fit.TOP TIP:- I used a nub of blutack to take an impression of the valve holder and then a small socket set socket to get the valve pins set to the right diameter to match the holes in the blutack impression. Without doing this the valves were never going in. I have played with, and modified, valve amps for 40+ years and never had such an extreme problem. The amp has very little gain, there was certainly no chance of pushing the power amp, not that you want to break the signal up, but the gain was almost no different to the line signal. The resulting sound is fine. Nothing unpleasant. It doesn't make you go "Wow!" either in a bad way or in good way really. It seems reasonably articulate, with no real vices, but it would be nice if it had a bit more "Wow!"I have seen reviews that suggest the headphone socket is a waste of time because of the lack of available gain. I haven't used it. I also haven't used the Bluetooth either so can't comment on any latency or quality in that respect. It is nice and compact and does the job I bought it for ... and it costs less than £100. Am I happy? Yeh, I guess, it's just not the sort of thing you say to people "Come and listen to this. It's awesome." It's fine.

Just brilliant...
I've got a Class D amplifier in my living room connected to good quality but (VERY) budget DAC and speakers. It's always had loads of detail but sounded a bit clinical and thin as Class D amplifiers do. I got the P3 and when I first hooked it up I was distinctly underwhelmed, with the amplifier at maximum volume there was a clearly audible hum when no music was playing.I turned the amp down so you couldn't really hear the humming and listened to it for a while. After 10 minutes I ordered a second one for my kitchen stereo (also Class D). It sounds absolutely lovely, I've never heard my music sound so life-like and I'm finding myself enjoying listening to my music much more. When you first get it don't be put off by the humming, just try reducing your amplifier volume (50% worked well on both my amps) to get rid of the hum and control the volume with the P3, keep the volume modest and hopefully you'll be amazed. If you can't get it sounding nice then return it but do try fiddling with it a bit for a few minutes first. With a tiny bit of tweaking I got it sounding amazing on both my stereos, hopefully you can too.I had no trouble fitting the tubes, it just took 5 minutes and a little bit of care - just make sure you remove the copper coloured rings around the tube holes to make access easier then refit them afterwards!

wow, my music just went from monochrome to colour!
My old and very cherished 1980’s music centre recently bit the dust, so I was looking to replace it in a cost effective way, but could not justify spending a fortune on an expensive amplifier which would only see occasional use, so after reading a few favourable reviews , I bought a Fozi V3 amplifier . I was a bit disappointed when I hooked it up to my Vintage Celestion speakers and connected my iphone to it to find that the sound was very underwhelming with a thin reedy sound so I put the V3 back in its box and forgot about it for a few months. One day , after a bit of googling I realised that I needed a pre-amp to boost the signal from the Iphone so I bought this Fozi P3 pre- amp for not a lot of money , connected it up to the Iphone / V3 amp /Celestion speakers and Wow ! , what a transformation. It sounded great . Inspired , I collected up all my old audio stuff, like a JBL 300 watt sub woofer I used in the car years ago, and I now have the best sounding sound system I have ever put together. With plenty of top end from the tweeters , I can really hear the high hats coming through , combined with earth shattering bass from the 300watt powered sub it sounds great .For the money, I think that this Fozi audio equipment is absolutely superb and fantastic value. This is an honest review, I bought the Fozi V3 and P3 with my own hard earned cash .I am really enjoying listening to music again !

Clean machine…
Great build quality, excellent Matt finish. Very nice ice blue led for the valves. Clean sound and great Bluetooth performance. A bit of tube/valve rolling is worth it if you want different sound signatures. The P3 will feed any power amp with a nice clean signal. I will be trying it out with a few different power amps soon like the Tibo PA150, Aiyima D325X etc. Very handy little pre amp and worth having in your sonic arsenal.

Good audio and nice build quality
What it does, it does very well. Basic RCA input or Bluetooth and RCA and 3.5mm headphone output. Audio quality very good.Easy to connect iPhone.Would have been useful if it had a toslink optical input.
