5-stars for function and quality, 1-star for value
It's always helpful to have an extra Apple Watch cable as you can usually find someone to borrow a Lightning cable from, but less likely to find one for your watch. Belkin is a great brand and I own many of their products as they are always high-quality and reliable. This cable is no exception with its braided nylon wrap for protection and durability. That said, you usually buy a non-Apple product (especially cables) because they're cheaper or function significantly better and this cable does neither. For $20 more than Apple's 1-meter cable, the 1-foot additional length and braided nylon aren't justified. Since third-party cables often stop working over time, I'd go for the certified Apple cable for cheaper. Also, the “puck” is wider and thicker than the Apple cable, so if you have any accessories like a charging stand, it is unlikely to fit.

Does the job, is expensive.
So this Belkin Apple Watch charging cable works just great for any released Apple Watch to date. It's also a little longer than Apple's own version, coming in at 1.2m (versus 1m for Apple's). Apple does sell a 2m variant of the charging cable, but it you wanted something in between, here's your cable. Some things to note:1.) Clearly a much better build quality than Apple's own version.2.) The puck itself is noticeably thicker than Apple's. One can assume this is due to the reinforcement of the connector.3.) Due to its size and the connector, it's unlikely to fit into most third-party docks. That's a significant downer.4.) It's really expensive. But, in terms of the cable/puck itself (omitting the dock issues), this is the nicest one out there.Personally, I will be using this as my travel charger. Since travel chargers get thrown in bags/luggage, they tend to suffer more stresses than they would otherwise on a desk or bedside table. For this, it should be great, so we'll see how well it holds up. So far, twisting it around hard in all directions has had no ill effect. I'd never to do that with Apple's original charger, since the rubber connections can rip if you're too aggressive.Overall, this is a great charger. The two biggest detractors - price and dock compatibility - may not be an issue to some, but it's still a niggle that I can't let go of.4 stars out of 5. Recommended.

Expensive but with some nice features
I love my Apple Watch, but owning one means I need yet another charger cord to drag with me when I travel. Because I travel often, my preference is to own spares of all my cords; I keep them in a bag that I can simply throw in my luggage before I go.I like that this cord is a little longer than the Apple-supplied one. Hotel power outlets aren't always as conveniently placed as I'd like, so a little extra length is helpful. I also like the braided cable, which I hope will withstand a fair amount of knocking around and winding. And it works as well at charging as does my Apple cord. The cord I received is light pink rather than black. I don't really care one way or the other, but I suppose some people might.Because the charging base is bigger than Apple's, this cord doesn't fit in my stand. That's not a major issue for me, since I use the stand at home (where I use the Apple cord) and not on the road. But it might be annoying if you prefer a stand. The price is very high. I hope that pays off in durability.

Braided cord is great for packing away
The braided USB cord is probably the best aspect of this, aside from the name brand dependability. I've had plenty of cables over the years and the braided options are best for traveling/packing on a routine basis. Does that justify the cost? Maybe if it came with a wall adapter. You could get two chargers of different brands or stores for the price of this and it's not like a standard cord breaks immediately or even after months. This is a very attractive, dependable charger with a nice length coord that is braided for long term use. It doesn't include a wall adapter so you need a USB port somewhere to charge your watch. The height of the charger itself is too much for most stands/holders. The watch is ~$600 so getting something trustworthy to charge it sounds like a good idea. But there's some great other options for a more reasonable price.

A little overbuilt for what it is, but it does work well
First, the cable works well. It is a beautifully braided cable that feels very durable. Both ends are well strain-relieved, and the cable itself has beautiful gold-toned metal accents on the USB cable and on the hockey-puck charger. Belkin spared no expense here - this is work of art. The charger also feels like it has a bit of a strong magnetic hold than the OEM charger, so it's really nice for not losing connection. That being said, the hockey puck itself is HUGE. It's wider and deeper, possibly explaining the better magnetic connection. If you are trying to use this in a charging station designed for the OEM charger, I imagine it just won't fit. That being said, the larger puck is almost a charging station in itself. The whole thing looks really classy and I imagine people who buy this will want it displayed on their desk instead of the boring white apple charger. So you will pay for the look, but it is a quality device.

Strong, but big and expensive.
The Good: USB is all metal, good and strong. The cable is covered in lots of nylon. Both ends have lots of extra rubber protection against breakage. The 'rose gold' color (classy pink) is fancy. All works great. The Bad: Charging head is huge, much bigger and thicker than the little Apple one. Didn't see any advantages here (charging time or anything), just the negatives of increased size and weight. Look at the pictures, it's significant. This bigger size of head is common in non-apple Apple Watch chargers, but . . .The Ugly: I would expect more for $50. I would expect all the upgrades AND the regular sized head. It's a good product, but don't think it's worth fifty dollars, unless the extra durability is REALLY important to you.Hope this quick review helps you.
