Works great, installed on my 2003 Chevy trailblazer LS, was having intermittent 4x4 issues put this replacement encoder motor on and it works perfect now. All 4x4 options work now with no issue at all. Keep in mind, if your truck is stuck in 4x4, you may have to manually turn it back to 2wd when you replace this to get the splines lined up correctly, just put the truck in neutral rock it back and forth and then crawl under click the splines (counterclockwise) back to 2wd and it was just plug and play afterwards. Very happy.

It was a straightforward direct replacement, perfect fit. It worked as expected, all wheel drives engaged no problem. Starting with 5 start review for now. Will test now durability and more severe conditions like low cold freezing temperatures. Will update review if needed.

Had to turn the spine on the transfer case to neutral (center) with vice grips. Initially wouldn't move clockwise. Started vehicle, put it in drive, reverse, then left it in neutral. Shaft then moved to center easily and part went on easily. Started vehicle, 4x4 light on dash went off, vehicle works great!

Can't give five stars yet but a word of advice people change this part out without checking the axle actuator. on the front axle and also 4wd control module under the dash on the driver side you also don't want to use the auto 4wd function on the 4wd selector because it causes this part to prematurely fail also the in-dash selector 4wd switch can be bad I speak from experience as I have owned 3 of these trucks in the last 12 years it's a great truck lacking a Manuel shifter for the 4WD a manual shifter would eliminate all this!

Good replacement for the original and now my 4 wheel drive works.
