Batanaful's 100% Pure Batana Oil for Hair Growth, Dry Skin & Scalp, Hair Loss, Split Ends for Men and Women - 100ml

This is genuine botana oil. I've been looking at the cheaper versions currently flooding Amazon. They look nothing like this. This has an almost waxy feel and smells like burnt coffee (smell doesn't seem to linger though once applied). It's solid and you can scrape it with a spoon or a finger nail. It's reminiscent of solid coconut oil but not quite as hard and melts between fingers or hands much faster than coconut oil. It doesn't have a vaseline like texture and doesn't have a suspicious sheen on it. The cheaper knock-offs have been described as paste-like, and from the customer photos they all have a shiny greasy look and a vaseline like texture. If you want genuine botana oil buy from this company. They have a professional looking website, have had their products shown in the media and are UK based not China as many of the others are. Edited to add: I see they have ads in the magazines rather than being specifically written about. Everything else in this review still stands). Too soon to know whether it will grow my hair faster but can say it made my hair softer immediately. One negative - at £33 its expensive. But if you want to go cheap, buy this first so you can compare whatever cheap stuff you're buying with the genuine article.

Not sure if this oil genuine or not because of strange smell ( semi cigarette or burn smell) however i realised little bit less hair felt off after washing

This is real Botana oil. It smells a little like coffee and has a think solid texture until rubbed between the fingers when it turns from a solid back into oil form. I haven't used it long enough to see any major results, however I'm impressed with the quality of the product and have high hopes for the long term outcome. So far it absorbs into my hair nicely and leaves it feeling soft and nourished. ( I have typical mixed race curly hair)

It smells terrible. Like cigarettes. I get a headache from it ....

I adore this product so much. My hair has grown so much in 2 weeks of using this Bantana butter/oil. Keeps my hair moisturised and eliminates any itching. It is expensive, but I have seen fantastic results. I will most definitely buy it again. Thank you Batanaful. Next time I will upload some before and after pics. P.S. I like the smell but some people do not.

I was happy to receive this products but was surprised when i opened it, it was a solidify substance then when i poke my finger through to touch the substance was waterey, it smelt like coffee like most review said, but for that price (£30 odd quid) looks like ole stock.

There is nothing to dislike about a good product. BATANAFUL OIL is of a dark caramel colour and smell nutty, slightly smokey coffee smell. It is not a typical coffee smell. It actually smell of a natural smell coming directly from the nut of how I know BATANA OIL should be. This BATANAFUL OIL immediately hydrate and conditioned my dry frizzy hair and leave it feeling moisturised and satisfying. This has been my second jar of BATANAFUL, only wished it was double the size. I will always buy BATANAFUL OIL. Thank you.
