Really Easy Piano: Queen Paperback – 22 Sept. 2011

Bought this as a present for my mother. She's just started to learn how to play piano and she loves queen, so she was really happy when she opened this. Music is easy to follow and the book is good quality, highly recommend.

Great but I would question their definition of beginner. Something for a novice to aspire to, maybe!

Packaged well - delivered on time - I've had a quick run through it but will need the help of my piano teacher - looks good though - the right book for my level (I'm at level one working towards two)

Good selection of songs. Bought as a gift so not sure how easy to follow.

Okay, so hands up any pianist who doesn't want to be able to play Bo Rhap ?Funny, I see no hands.Anyway, this book has a nice version of it, but it's really, really short (about 2 minutes) and misses out huge sections.I'd have preferred if they'd included a full length version and maybe had fewer songs. I've seen easy full length versions of it in other books. As it is, I found it hugely disappointing and got to a stage where I can almost play it and then packed it in feeling that it wasn't worth the additional time to get it fully down, when it's such a short version.As an example, I've also got an easy Led Zepplin playbook (by a different publisher) and that has full length versions of their songs.The shortness of the songs in this series of books will stop me buying any more of these "Really Easy " series. There's other, better options out there.

Just like all the really easy piano books this is really good and has a good selection of tunes to learn suitable for beginners

Arrivato ben confezionato e nei tempi previsti, dovrò aspettare un po' di tempo perchè ho appena iniziato a prendere lezioni di pianoforte quindi magari fra un annetto potrò suonare qualcosa.

Me ha gustado muchísimo y es fácil. No es para iniciarse en el piano, pero es un buen útil para tocar las canciones de Queen.

parfait pour s'accompagner avec les tablatures américaine (accords par les lettres de A à G ;-) )avec les portées pour mains droite et gauche au piano pour ceux qui savent bien se débrouiller et paroles (malheureusement pas les chansons complètes -> 1 couplet et le refrain)

This book is far from what I thought it would be. Sure, it's "Really Easy" but I expected it to be really easy PIANO parts. It's not.The right hand (treble clef) is just the vocal line. The left hand (bass clef) is so simplified that, well, it's just not at all what I was looking for. Tons of long rests and barely a two note cheater chord to be found amidst the overly simplified single note parts. When you purchase piano music, don't you expect to actually get, well, something like the PIANO part to the song?! I do.However, if you're looking for a book of music that'll allow you to play the VOCAL melody on the piano, then this is a great book for you. If you want to learn a simplified version of the piano part for Queen songs, just get a regular book and then cross out notes of chords until it's easy enough to play. So instead of playing three or four notes with one hand, play two. Also, as you get better at piano, you'll be able to gradually learn the actual music.

The easy piano version of Queen's Music is good to start with in order to learn some of their biggest hits. You can add more onto the easy version with chords and notes to make it sound like the original. It gives you a good start to see how the songs are formed.
