Works well for rosacea prone skin

I am in my 50s and have developed very small pimples on my nose - I think it is called rosacea. This (with nothing else other than soap and water) eliminates it!

I don’t regularly use proactive products so I was skeptical that it would work without using the rest of the product line, however, to my surprise, it worked really well alone, and I would recommend this to anyone who has dark patches and trying to achieve an even skin tone.

My teenage son has been struggling with teen acne for over a year, especially on his forehead and his nose. I did not want him to use something harsh so I was excited that Proactive offers a line for acne prone skin with more natural active ingredients that will not mess with his hormones and are not too drying and harsh. We did the trial set first which comes with Step 1- Step 3. Step 2 is the Azelaic Pore Perfector with the main active ingredient azelaic acid which is killing acne-causing bacteria, unclogging pores, and reducing inflammation, making it effective for improving skin texture and tone. It does not smell bad, its very neutral smelling and no fragrance is added to the product which is important to me. My son only does the full regiment in the night time after showering and his acne outbreaks (especially the blackheads) reduced within 2-3 weeks and now his pimples are a lot less. It really works if you stay on top of it (and stop picking / touching your forehead). I did take one star of for the price. The tube is only 3 oz and teenagers are not exactly careful when using skin products so it gets pricey.

This stuff is great!! I was looking for a product to help with my mild rosacea and pair well with Tretinoin. This cream does a great job, I apply it in the mornings. I’ve noticed an improvement with skin texture and with redness. As a bonus, the cream/serum feels like it adds an extra layer of moisture and the bottle is big! I’ve had this for months and it’s stil going.
