RKX Gas cap replacement seal Fuel FLAT STYLE Compatible with Volkswagen VW mk5 mk6 petrol (1)

The gas cap seal looks and fits just like the original on our 2012 Beetle Turbo. The CEL had come on and our first thought was the gas cap or seal was causing it, so bought this seal. But later used a code reader which lead to replacing an O2 sensor, which resolved the CEL. Didn't hurt to replace the gas cap seal though.

Had the check engine light on my 2012 golf come on. Checked the error code and it was something as simple as replacing the gas cap gasket.

I ordered it to fix my wifes mk6 but didn’t work. We both have same model and same year. I put my cap in her car, turns off the engine check light. I switched the gasket and still turns off the light. Decided to order this gasket to fix the fuel cap but it didn’t work. It is not turning off the engine light with this gasket.

I place the gasket correctly into the gas cap, ensure it was fitted. Check engine still pop up after reset, and also drove a few day more. Still engine code. Just purchase an OEM Gas cap on Amazon for 30 bucks.

Fixed my gas light issue.. fit like stock.

Fits my style of fuel cap perfectly.

It got the job done now my car doesn’t pop in the trunk anymore
