The Serious Foodie Gourmet 3 Pack (Braising, 3 Pack)

Thank you for this new Brazilian: Smoked Jalapeño & Citrus - Grill Sauce & Marinade. I first tried a large spoonful as an embellishment over some wild-caught red snapper filets. Sadly the sauce overwhelmed the delicate fish. But then I tried it as a marinade for chicken thighs before roasting them in the oven, skin side up (at 360°F for 1 hour, then I turned them over for another half hour at 280°F.) They were amazing. While they were roasting in the oven I thought someone in the neighborhood must have been grilling on a smoker with hardwood, but then I realized that smell was coming from the smoked Jalapeños in the sauce. This was not some fake BS "liquid smoke" smell, it was the smell of real hardwood smoke (maybe from applewood?) Those chicken thighs were divine!I have enjoyed all of the sauces and rubs from Serious Foodie and this new Brazilian Sauce is a new favorites.

WOW this is a great deal for TO DIE FOR GOURMET SAUCES that take you all over the world! BEST SAUCES IN JARS EVER! If you want to taste something OUT OF THE ORDINARY and something that is like ALL THE GOOD THINGS GROWN ON THIS EARTH this is it!The sauces are tasty yet subtle with different dimensions to them. Love the undescribable mix of comforting, warmth, smoothness, balanced and exotic taste and flavor to them. LOVE! LUUUUUUUV! IN LOOOVE!Because they're just PERFECT AWSOME YUMMY OUT OF THE JAR, they are easy to use and cook. There's not a need to add more to them like many other sauces out there, other than salt and pepper.JUST BUY BUY BUY THESE SERIOUS FOODIE SAUCES!!! I will be getting more of these. And can't wait to try their other items.

I haven't tried the Mango sauce yet. The garlic grilling sauce is definitely low heat as far as spice goes. But it has a great flavor. I added it to a semi home made chicken curry. It perked the dish up to be more flavorful. Will try the spices next on some salmon. It's great to try different flavors in food from different countries. Go for it.

The Korean Garlic lemon marinade just did not have enough flavor. I marinaded meat over 24 hours and still felt like I needed some spice on it after cooking. The other sauce was good however. Haven't tried rub yet but I'm sure it will work out well enough.

The flavors of the sauces are truly unique. You cannot find these flavors in any supermarket. Very versatile - can be used as a marinade, basting, primary sauce etc.

Bought this as a gift for my younger brother who enjoys to cook. The flavor combinations sound unique, and tasty. The packing/labels are nice and appear as advertised. I cannot yet attest to the taste of the products because it’s a Christmas gift, but will update accordingly!
