I received these and put them into the fridge right away. A couple of days later I used five of them, a couple of weeks later I used another five, and 2 weeks after that I used another five. Not. One. Issue. Beautifully clean agar plates. Totally sterile and produced aggressive mycilial growth. I was actually skeptical but the results speak for themselves. They ship quickly, they have a quality product at a reasonable price. There's no reason for me to make my own Petrie dishes anymore. These people have a customer in me forever.

I’ve ordered agar from Booming Acres several times now, and every order until this last one arrived on time, in perfect condition, and worked exactly as expected. This summer has been brutally hot, and unfortunately, my most recent shipment was clearly damaged, likely due to heat during transit. But resolving it couldn’t have been easier. They included a flyer in the package with clear instructions on what to do if there was any issue. I followed the steps, and within minutes I got a response and confirmation that a replacement was on the way, completely free of charge. The whole experience was painless, professional, and honestly impressive. I’m beyond satisfied, not just with the products, but with the level of customer service. I’ll absolutely keep ordering from them!

Received my agar cups in a timely manner. One ended up being busted. I contacted the seller and he squared it away. Very professional. And I support this small business and I plan on buying more. The cups I did use are going well no contaminants.

Amazing product. Super nutritious and made my mycelium grow super fast. Also an amazing price and cool colours will be buying this again for sure. Normally agar from amazon isnt good but this agar is amazing highly recomend to anyone perfect for a beginner mycologist

The agars look good without anything concerning inside on the Agar solutions themselves but one of my sleeves of packaged agars came with something oddly sealed between the agar cup and plastic seal to join the stacks of 5 cups together, see photos. Time will tell to help tell my results but the hairy looking chunk seems out of place and not normal to be received with this type of product, hopefully it’s not a contaminant on the product received.

I ordered their 15 agar cups and when they arrived, I discovered that two were damaged during shipping and one was contaminated. I simply sent an email along with a photo, and customer service sent a very nice reply and apology stating replacements would be in the mail. While I was waiting I used some of the other cups to test some liquid cultures from syringes I was using for my mycology hobby. The agar worked perfectly. The cups were easy to use and they have a nice airtight seal or fit. I never had to use any tape. Within 8 days, I had my replacement agar cups and they were in perfect condition. I'm happy to find a company that stands behind their product and does it with courtesy and professionalism. I'll gladly purchase from Booming Acres again. I highly recommend them!

Not only have my agar cups been amazing… allowing my to have very healthy mycelium growth… But also… the customer service was AMAZING! When your order arrives… they have a note in the box that says for u to contact them if any of your cups are ruined in shipping. I had about 3 or so- that were. I followed the company’s instructions to contact them immediately with pictures. They emailed me back SUPER FAST! I was shocked (in a great way)! The company representative was extremely polite and courteous. I received my replacements plus a few extra in just a few short days. I actually forgot to write my review earlier on. I came back to place another order actually lol Figured…. Better late than never. Anyhow… I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY for agar cups!!! Now let me go place my second order 🏃🏾‍♀️ 💨
