I use this book as inspiration for my illustrative work. I really like the authors style and the reason why he wrote this book. Great service, great quality and five star service.

Couldn’t put it down
Amazing sketch book with so much more that I didn’t expect to it. I’ve just started sketching so am intrigued to see anything akin to a sketchbook but the moving narrative alongside the life sketches was beautifully written tale of real life experiences. Read over the last 24 hours and will return to it very often. Going to go see what else this author and sketcher has done.

A great read and inspirational for more than just the sketching
The book is a very honest account of some of the major and not so major goings on in Danny’s life and combines both an interesting story and some great sketches. What I loved….his bravery in sharing the emotions he experienced through a tragic eventhis ability to find beauty and interest in everyday objects, e.g. the signs he sees on his way home, the insides of his medicine cabinet, etc- his willingness to share great but also not so great sketches- his use of his own handwritten text and the confidence of his writing style- his confidence in mark making – very different to my own where I tend to use the pen like a pencil too wispy and tentative or too solidAnd finally would I recommend it? Absolutely! It’s a great read and inspirational for more than just the sketching, check it out.

Excellent
What a wonderful little book. This book will inspire you to start your own artistic journal. There is also a face book group where people summit there own art journal work. Get it today and start drawing because every day really does matter.

Danny Gregory's writing is a joy, funny and also at time very moving
If one day, you feel the urge to want to sketch, draw & paint (again, perhaps after a long time of not having been active in these creative areas), then this is a book that can help you make a fresh start. Danny Gregory's writing is a joy, funny and also at time very moving.

A book about drawing not how to draw.
Don't expect a how to book, this is about draw, not how to draw. It contains a touching ,emotional journey of how a creative couple over came a devastating event and how drawing plays its part. And my favourite part is a simple line drawing with the caption, I always wanted to do drawing like this, and now I have.

Inspirational
This little book (120 pages) is very inspiring. It will motivate you to restart sketching anything and everything to journal your daily life. I have been following Danny's work for a while now and he certainly inspired me to take up sketching and enjoy doing art daily which is exactly what I wanted! I am not going to do big paintings but the I am very gratefull for the wellness I am getting out of it. Just one negative... I thought the book was pricey.
