Nope, too stiff, unwearable
I’m sure I am just being picky here, but holy cow, this thing is stiff!! I realize that it’s leather, but I had to return this one because it was so stiff I couldn’t wear it. I originally bought it because it’s one of the only belts I could find that was small enough for me, I had to get an XS. The sizing was good BUT it was so stiff it duh into the bottom of my ribs and tops of my hips with no give at all. Breaking it in would’ve been a nightmare. I could barely even get it off because it wouldn’t come out of its own buckle. My husband had to help me take it off.I ended up buying the same one My husband has from pro fitness that was prefect the first time I put it on, just saying.

You should order 1 size smaller than the chart says
I ordered a large. The length from the size chart is accurate, but the effective lengths are all wrong because they neglect the 1.5" width of the buckle. I measured my belt spot as 41", and the effective length of the large is advertised as 34-41". I measured 41" from the buckle and ended up on the 3rd hole. And when I put it on, it fit better on the 4th and even 5th hole.I suspect that the sheer mass of the belt pushes away some level of belly fat just by nature of wearing the belt, without it being too tight (that's just a hunch) so I recommend err on the side of ordering smaller than the chart says. I'm going to return for a medium. No opinion on quality but I did notice that the belt is made of some type of "stacked" material. I don't know if that's common for weight belts but it's definitely a sign of junk for fashion belts (where it's called "bonded leather")....I don't know what it means here...just an observation...

Great belt.Been using for over a year and extremely happy with the purchase.Normally wear a 34 pant or 36 shorts (for more room in the seat) and the LARGE was the best fir for me.I am on the last notch so if I get bigger I am good. If I loose inches off my waist I will need a medium.Completely satisfied with this purchase.

4 years later
My gf is looking into the belt I have so decided to write a review. I’ve had it for 4 years and as a powerlifter, this belt holds up. I haven’t used other well known brands but it’s because this belt has been doing it’s job. Prongs are still holding up, the belt itself is still in good condition. I do remember it taking a bit to break in but that’s going to be the case for lifting belts. If you’re ok with using a prong belt over a lever belt, then I would recommend this one.

Four starts because the size chart isn't exactly accurate. Belt is very well made and a staple in most gyms. By way of the size chart - I was an XL - but I was in the last set of slots and it will only get looser as I break it in. I returned and ordered a L - which fits perfectly and gives me sets of holes to tighten as the belt breaks in.

Good product, great price!
I bought a medium at first (my waist size is ~ 31 but you don't wear it that low, do you?!!) but it was a tad big for my taste. I got the small instead and had to drill a pair of holes right at the top as the ones it came with would've squeezed the life out of me! As for the product itself, it's very stable and provides adequate support on those heavy squats. The material is comfy. Love the red colour!

Excellent belt
Great belt, thick, sturdy and does what its supposed to. A lot more support than those thin leather belts made by Hbinger and those terrible neoprene versions. One user said it was uncomfortable. Seriously? Its not supposed to be comfortable, its there to provide core pressure and support. When I'm doing heavy squats and deadlifts, the last thing I think about is comfort.

Good belt for powerlifting.
Takes about 8 uses before it breaks in. Very sturdy belt, great for Powerlifting, especially at this price. I've owned for several months, used it 5 times a week and it hasn't shown any noticeable signs of wear despite heavy use. I've regularly hit lifts above 400 lbs and this belt has held up without a problem. The only issue is that whenever I sweat I'll have stains from the belt on my shirt afterwards( They usually wash out).Edit: Added pictures after several months of heavy use and ABUSE. :)If my review helped you to make your mind about purchasing this product, please feel free to click "yes" below, that you found my review helpful. Thanks!
