Premium Grape Leaves for Stuffing 1kg

I always trust this brand. It is yummy, big, good textured and fresh.I an from a country where we cook stuff grape leaves every week and in almost every occasion. These are really tasty and easy to fold. I highly recommend them and recommend putting them in warm water for a minimum of 30 min before stuffing.

One of the hardest things about making stuffed grape leaves is getting them out of the jar without ripping them. These were the BEST grape leaves I have ever worked with. They are layered flat in the container in groups of 5 leaves so removing them and separating them for rinsing is a breeze. I will definitely buy these again!

I could not get to the local grocer for making dolmades so I used these. They were packed tightly and you get A TON of leaves! Very easy to unwrap. No blemishes on the leaves at all. Huge value for the money. I did not like them as well as my normal supplier, they are not young leaves so they are not tender and thin. too thick for my taste but we made it work!

My wife has just opened this jar of Grape Leaves which we purchased at my advice, since it is advertised to contain no preservatives (as unfortunately most similar products available today do), only to be faced with a seen of deterioration and possible contamination. As you can see in the picture attached, from left to right:1. the yellow plastic cover of the jar, in perfect condition.2. the cardboard disc attached to the inside of #1, showing liquid damage.3. the aluminum foil disk attached to the top of the jar to make it air-tight (and did not).4. the plastic round grid that holds the grape leaves down, immersed in fluid (covered by white crystalized deposits).Additionally, what is not conveyed by the picture is the acrid smell emanating from the opened jar. Needless to say, we were very dishearten to have to go back to our old, preservatives laden jar of grape leaves, just to finish the dish.

Most of the grape leaves were small and cannot be used

I enjoyed working with these grape leaves. They were easy to remove from the container, and easy to separate for rinsing, with NO tearing of the leaves. I just cut the stems off, with no need to remove any of the veins because they were woody, like other brands I have used. There were some small leaves, however, they are easy to put together, and I much prefer them to the big, old, bug eaten leaves I have purchased that were grown in California.I have been making stuffed grape leaves for over 40 years, and my husband commented that he thought these were the best. Enough said.

The best I’ve ever bought. Use these to stuff with lamb and rice. They are of a good size and no broken leaves. Would definitely purchase again.

I just started to make Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves with lamb) and purchased grape leaves from my local supermarket. They were tuff and stringy no matter how l preboiled them and then cooked them. So, of course I went to Amazon to see what kind of grape leaves I could find. I found these Premium Grapes Leaves and after reading all the reviews, I purchased them and found them to be tender and not stringy and I am very pleased with my purchase.
