I had researched these pergola kits for a while as I was getting ready to invest in something for my backyard that I wanted to last. I finally decided to purchase the kit from Jexlaline. The shipping was fast and the pieces were wrapped up very thoughtfully. I have ordered from Amazon for years now and it's not uncommon for things to be scratched, broken, or bent. Each piece was completed wrapped and packed in the boxes snuggly. This allows for careless delivery drivers who might toss boxes around to be ineffective at causing damage to the package. Considering the weight of the items, I was pleased the seller had the foresight to box it up well. The pieces are not cheaply made steel. These things are thick and coated with serious mass to each piece. There were no machining defects whatsoever. Each piece was exactly the same size and the all fit well with the wood posts I had bought. The screws are not messing around either. They are heavy duty and are not going to be going anywhere now that they ate in place. I don't typically leave reviews due to the amount of stuff I buy from Amazon but these pergola pieces really were a great buy. I had been planning this project all winter as I was building this around my wife's she-shed and plan on putting a metal roof over the entire thing. Due to the scale of my project, it was critical I used reliable pieces. When I saw that the items were of good quality and well made, I was thrilled to get started. Every piece worked well and I am quite happy with this product. I will buy from this seller again, easily.

This kit is very easy to use, with 2 people to assemble the structure. Comes with anchors(some fell apart) and screws to fasten the 4x4 poles into place. No signs of rust yet.

These are a good quality item. They are strong and fit 4x4 post perfectly. My only dislike is that the attachment screws should be bolts and not screws. I feel that these were a good buy.

I used two sets to create roof in front of my camper and it worked great!!!

This pergola kit couldn’t be any better. I used this to assemble my pergola almost a year ago and it is as strong and sturdy as ever. It is a great value and was a breeze to assemble.

I build machines for a living, my wife ordered these as she liked the look. I disliked the following. 1. The hardware sent was not correct. I received hex head bolts when should have been threaded shafts with a separate nut. They were tossed loose in the box not even in a bag so scratched up the brackets themselves. Awesome! Had to spend $60 on Tapcon 3/8” x 3” concrete screw anchors. 2. There is so much space (1/2”-5/8“) around each post inside the brackets you end up having to shim them all using scrap cuts from the 4x4’s (coaster thickness, and inserting on top and outside to allow bottom and inner contact edges to be firm and secure. I attempted to screw without shims and the cheap poor quality weld snapped on a bracket instantly. 3. The screws sent to secure wood to brackets are garbage and also the wrong type for the application. A hex hed lag screw would allow for a flush Mount whereas the ones sent can’t fully seat as the holes drilled in the bracket are not counter sunk. 4. You end up with sunk in brackets with scrapes all over them as they are sent poorly wrapped. Ended up having to repaint them as they looked terrible. 5. The lack of customer support. When attempting to contact for some sort of reimbursement as to the quality being terrible and having to purchase my own hardware to do the job no response ever came. Save yourself the headache and buy any other brand of Pergola kit brackets. These are trash. Still waiting on a response from these guys…

This product was exactly as advertised. It came expertly packaged, each piece wrapped separately to ensure safety and no scratches. It also came with the installation hardware for mounting and the instructions were very helpful too. This is a sturdy system, looks great, and will last a very long time. My update is to have a helper for installing the top portion. I used ladders as "steps" to help get the rafters in place and remember these are 4x4's that can be kind of heavy so be careful!

Great price - slow shipping - finish is a little cheap n shiny. They did exactly what I wanted them for HOWEVER- i mixed them with vevor pergola brackets and while very similar size on exterior. The interior where the wood goes have differing depths. You will want to take this into account especially for the vertical legs. I had to add spacers to my pre cut legs on all these brackets to make them the same height as the vevor legs were. I suggest using a few 2x4 scraps to measure and account for differences IF you want to get creative and mix these in with other pergola brackets.
