EKO Hudson Matte Stainless 75 Liter/20 Gallon Step Trash Can with Rear Trash Bag Storage Compartment

Just got my new trash can and I love it!! The matte finish is very nice. The inside finish of the lid is much more cleaning friendly than my previous trash can. I love the trash bag holder in the back!! That's going to be a very convenient feature for me. I haven't ever had a trash can with the air freshener holder, I'm looking forward to trying it out though. The lid rings are a nice touch too, keeping the trash bag in place, and concealing it well when the lid is closed. Trash capacity is great, same size as my last trash can, so it meets all my needs. Very nice product.

My kitchen is tight, there's approximately 20 x 24 inches of space in which I can put a garbage can, right next to the entryway. I've tried a bunch of cans over the years, and they're always too small, open top or flap designs that release odors, or too flimsy and break after a few months.This Eko unit is great so far though. The straight sided, extra tall design gets me 50% more usable capacity. the stainless is attractive, and the dual lifting arms on the lid seem very sturdy. And it seals odors surprisingly well. The only thing I wish was different is the plastic hinges for the lid. I'd feel more confident in it lasting if they were metal, same with the ring that holds the bags in place. It's the closest I've found to an ideal kitchen garbage can for me though.

I love this trash can, as silly as that may sound. It fits perfectly where it needed to be placed in my kitchen. It’s super simple to use (not batteries needed for anything.) The lid is soft close, there’s a bag compartment in the back, and it matches so well in my kitchen. It was pretty much on the expensive side, but in my opinion it’s worth it. It also cleans easily!

A well built trash can. Expensive but worth the functionality and looks of the can. Lid closes soft and smooth. Look at it as an investment into a lifelong trash can.

I had a sensor lid trash can for 10 years and liked it except replacing so many batteries and how the bag falls out if the lid stays open too long. These factors were enough to make me consider a different option when I finally needed to replace ours.After three months, I'm happy with my choice. The extra capacity is nice (though you need to be strong to lift a full bag), the rim insert both hides and holds the bag perfectly, even if you leave the lid open to peel something... the stainless steel is attractive and easy to clean. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to fit bags in the holder on the back. I did order the proprietary bags and they fit well and are sturdy.

I've been looking for a new trash can for my kitchen and am so glad I found this one by EKO! Compared to my original 13 gallon one (cylindrical), this 17 gallon one is definitely big, but I absolutely love it since I cook a lot and generate a lot of trash. I'd like to note that I purchased 20 gallon trash bags on the side just for this trash can.The step mechanism works really well and isn't flimsy like some other trash cans. Plus, as a lover of functional products, the fact that this trash can comes with a compartment at the back to store additional trash bags is AMAZING (also thank you EKO for the 2 included trash bags)! Also, they have a built-in deodorizer compartment which I think is definitely a splurge but a worthy one to ensure that my kitchen doesn't smell (Note: Deodorizers not included). The soft closing is also a nice touch since now my trash can's lid won't constantly slam after I let go of the step. Furthermore, the wide opening is great for when I have to swipe food scraps off of my cutting board, it was a precision act with my cylindrical trash can which led to some food scraps on the floor, but I won't have that issue anymore!Before I bought this trash can, I used to kick my cylindrical trash can all over the kitchen for convenience but that caused a lot of scuff marks on the floor and small dents on it. I'm glad that now I have this trash can to act as a permanent fixture in the kitchen.Overall, I think this trash can is extremely well designed both functionally and visually. I can't wait to put this trash can into good use.

My motion sensor trash can was on its last legs, so I researched and read reviews with the goal of getting a great product that would last as close to forever as possible, and I am very happy to have purchased this product. I prefer the step open to the motion sensor. I also like that it allows access to the whole bag to be filled before removing. It has a space for deodorizer, which I haven't used yet, but seems like a useful feature, and a bag holder on the back, which is convenient. It has also helped keep bugs out of the trash, which was a problem I had with my previous trash can. Attractive with a small footprint for apartment dwellers or homeowners alike. Highly recommend.
