Fantastic Shoes...
I suffer from sciatic nerve pain, minor diabetic neuropathy and minor feet swelling, which impacts the feeling on the top of my feet. I have been looking for a casual shoe that fits properly. In order to maintain comfort, I need a shoe that has a wide toe box, a tongue that does not put a lot of pressure on the top of my feet and a wide width. Up until I found Skechers, I wore Asics running shoes, one size up, in 4E. Overall, they worked okay. I had to loosen the laces significantly though. I also bought Asics because I could get them at a fair price around $50 here on Amazon. When that source went away, I started looking for a different brand of shoe. I found some inexpensive Skechers slip on walking shoes and was blown away by the feel of the soul. Unfortunately, my right foot is shorter, which caused fitment issues. I purchased 5 more pairs in various lengths/widths and realized I needed a lace up shoe to make it work. I bought these Skechers and am super pleased. My foot measures exactly 12 inches. I purchased the 13 inch in extra wide, which is actually 4E, and they fit PERFECT. The double straps work flawlessly. Absolutely zero unwanted pressure points. There was no break in period needed. Comfortable right out of the box. My feet are not fatigued one after hours of wearing these shoes. I highly recommend these shoes. They are comfortable and well made.

Diabetes shoes for people with lymphedema
The price wasn't too bad. It was a new experience for me. I always wore basketball shoes, high tops most of my childhood till late adult life. With me having medical issues lymphedema in my right leg and my Feet to swell. With medical badges and wraps on my leg and average sure would never fit. This gives me a plenty of room for the compressor. Wrappings to be applied to my feet and my legs The price is reasonable for mayday only lasts approximately 2 months comfortably. I am a very heavy person so the product may wear different from person to person with the swelling puts a little bit of damper on things versus the sides and that didn't help matters as I work in a wet environment so it does start letting go cuz of the water so they're not like boots. But like I said I work in a wet environment for a stadium when we clean. So take it in consideration when ordering for me they were most comfortable but I did add padding for my feet for comfort cuz I'm on my feet a lot. However when they started doing the compression management so they had to remove the paddings out of the shoes I did buy the oversized shoes so for me it was the 14 wide width. Gave me plenty of room they were easy to put on and off for the most part, but as my medical condition turned to the worst it made very hard for me to get the straps to fasten. I had to start using a hip kit to help me fasten the straps I have knee issues so it makes me hard to bend over to get through the straps all the time and trying to put the leg up on a bed is almost virtually impossible. When the legs are swelling you have to make the decision for yourself. I'm not going to be able to help you do anymore. What I mention above. Best of luck

Comfortable
Easy to get on and off. Great feature for a mature person like myself. A little spongy at first but really like them after awhile.

Got these for hip replacement
I got these specifically for the velcro closure as I had a hip replacement and cannot reach to tie my shoe on the operative side. These are working out perfectly. I am able to manage the velcro closure with my "hip kit" tools. The lack of a lot of velcro some reviewers complained about actually is a benefit for me because there isn't too much velcro to pry loose. I am size 9.5 mens and these are 9.5. They are roomy and easy to slip on and off yet not too loose, they are secure and safe during my physical therapy and are very comfortable. There is a lot of toe room. They do not rub the heel, and are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. The pictures are closing the tab using my other foot and then tapping the velcro with the grabber, and opening it by prying with the hook tool, after prying loose the velcro I pry under the tab to loosen. It took a bit of practice but now is pretty easy.

These shoes have given me back my life
My right foot was crushed in a terrible car accident when I was 18. Now 72 the arthritis has become unbearable. Orthopedic surgeons won’t touch it, just send me to have expensive insoles made. I tried all the best sneakers out there but then I tried these. I actually did not expect them to be any good but when put them on I was amazed! My large custom insoles fit in with no issue, the straps let me control the tension on my feet and I can now walk without pain! My only worry is if Sketchers stop making this incredible shoe I’m back to being a cripple.

These do have good cushion in the soles.
I dislike the Velcro on these because it seems too short. The cushion in them is good. Probably would not buy again.

Very light shoes.
The shoes are easy to get into. They are for an adult with mobility issues and they are eady to slip into.
