The right stuff for my BMW airhead
VR-1 rocks with the ZDDP that your flat tappet engines needs. I run the full synthetic in my Porsche 911. And I got this conventional from to run in my BMW airhead based on the recommendations from that community. So far so good and no leaks.

It'd be 5 starts but..
I've used this stuff (VR1) in my old Fords with flat tappet cams for years. It would be a five star review if the price was a little bit lower (It isn't "insane" - but Valvoline could do better). Would recommend.
