Very minty, but definitely wakes you and your skin up- not for sensitive types though
Apologies, this review won't be as detailed as those for the other masks we trialled. I have sensitive skin, this has peppermint which can be red rag to a bull when applied ALL over so my husband was volunteered as tribute to trial it..... His response was its ok, it's wet. Hmmn, face palm.On further probing we established by me sniffing him and the packet that it's VERY minty, so minty I could feel my skin twinge as if an internal air raid siren was blaring 'ALERT! Potential irritant!' But my hubbys oily skin took it well with no irritation so it may just be me.This mask uses the Korean style of a soaked cloth applied like an actual physical mask, I like these as they tend to be hydrating rather than the deep cleansing mud-clay types which are best for oily and congested skin and have used this style on and off for a few years when my face needed a boost. My husband was not impressed and moaned it felt funny, flapped around his beard and our 3 year old daughter was confused as to what had 'happened' to daddy. On removing his facial skin did feel baby soft and the peppermint had boosted circulation as his skin wasn't red but had a sort of 'glow' about it. He said he felt silly but admitted he didn't feel as tired as he did before so there was obviously more than a placebo effect going on as he wasn't the most enthusiastic to put it on.Would I buy this again? It certainly works but personally no due to peppermint sensitivities I was unaware of when I took for review, would I buy it again for hubby, no as he wasn't a happy camper wearing it and it's unlikely to change especially when I tell him the price- ouch for a single use. However if you have no sensitivities to peppermint, can afford it, and you need an occasional boost in the mornings, this is worth the cost due to its 'minimal necessary and the best' approach to ingredients and the fact they pretty much do what they say on the packet.

Refreshing
Essentially, this is a face mask. You tie back your hair, cleanse and tone your face, then take the peppermint smelling mask out of the packet and place over the face. It is very wet, but there are holes for the eyes, nose and mouth. Wipe the excess moisture into the face and neck - there is a lot of excess... Then leave in place for ten minutes. Once removed, gently massage the rest of the moisture into the face, or wipe off. The mask is intended for weekly use, but can be used daily. The mask does help the face feel refreshed, and revitalised, which is useful. I was initially put off by just how wet it felt coming out of the packet, but once the mask was on the face it was fine. This is a good face mask for helping you feel refreshed and ready to go on a morning, so I would recommend it.

Messy but good
I found this mask rather uncomfortable to wear. It has holes for nose, eyes etc but it gave me a slightly claustrophobic feel when wearing. It feels very slippy and cold when first taken out of the packet and cold when placed on face but that slight uncomfortableness soon passes. I found after five minutes I had had enough so took it off and popped it back in its packet. I found my skin feeling very soft after only this short usage and was really pleased with the result though I found the whole thing a bit messy. I gather it can be used several times and think I may cut and change the mask to make it feel more comfortable

Hydrating sheet mask
Slips a bit when on, works best lying down completely stationary, as for me it was a tad uncomfortable.Very mellow, you can smell the cucumber in it, suitable for sensitive skin and skin feels super soft after application.4 Stars as though it's a great product that cleanses and softens really well, £5 for one is pricey for what it is, and it's not the most comfortable thing to use.
